BM/WW IR sightings on TV

Looks like the series premiere of "Famous in Love" aired last night:

Have to see that when I get a chance. Sidenote that girl Bella Thorne is a bit out there if you ever checked her out on twitter.

The entire season of "Famous in Love" is available to watch now on Hulu, Freeform apps/website, & ABC apps/website. I prefer to watch this week-to-week as it airs on Freeform especially since the TV season is still going on, so PLEASE NO SPOILERS!!! A couple of y'all are notorious for posting stuff that hasn't even aired yet.

Saw on Viceland's Weediquette of the episode called Busted for Dope. Kenault Lawrence was arrested for a previous charge and is about to be deported. He is in a IR. Sadly he did not marry her before his arrest e.ven though they did marry in prison

There's this new show on Hulu called The Handmaid's Tale, very tough subject matter. The lead star Elizabeth Moss was in a IR relationship with a black guy and they have a daughter.

Not a big surprise; Fox has canceled "Rosewood," the Morris Chestnut-led drama which has enjoyed a 2-season run. This comes on the heels of Fox canceling "Pitch" after just one season.

The series averaged 4.8 million total viewers and a 1.3 demo rating during its first season, where it led into Empire on Wednesdays. It dropped sharply to a season 2 average of 3 million viewers and a 0.7 on Fridays, and ended its season with a demo low of 0.5.

The writing was on the wall when Fox shifted the program's air date and time, from Wednesday nights at 8pm, as a lead-in to "Empire," which certainly helped the freshman series, to Thursday nights at 8pm, and then finally to Fridays at 8pm, aka where TV series go to die.

The series premiered in the fall of 2015 with over 7 million viewers, and by the end of season 1, its viewership had been cut in half to 3.5 million. This season, it's settled into that 3-3.5 million viewers range. A move to Fridays at 8pm likely didn't help. But it's often not a good sign when shows are moved around this much, especially in such a short period of time, and early into their runs. The moving around may confuse fans, who might not go looking for the show when they tune in at its expected time slot, only to learn that it's no longer airing during that period.

I actually watch "Rosewood" from time to time. It's not what I'd call must-see TV for me; it's one of those *undemanding* series I can watch on Hulu the day after the episode airs, while I work. I'm entertained enough. But it seriously lacks edge, and could've maybe benefited by going darker.

The season finale ended on a will they, won't they cliffhanger scene. So Rosewood & Villa never got together on screen.

The writing on the show was very stiff and by the numbers. Frankly, with a will-they/won't-they format, you gotta shit or get off the pot. Tension is an element of a story, but in and of itself, is a trick that gets old very quickly. If two actors have chemistry, trust that they can sustain it through a romance. The writers dragged their romantic arc episode-to-episode like a dead body.

I didn't have a problem with them dragging out the Rosewood-Villa 'ship because similar shows like "Castle" & "Bones" dragged out their main characters 'ships for 5-7 seasons until they finally got together.

The writers had not learned from House Of Lies.

Awwww, l liked that show. I never watched it for the storyline..l watched just because l enjoyed their interactions as partners. They were both so sexy and l felt like she seethingly wanted him underneath, but he was more oblivious to her.

You just knew if they ended up in bed she would have tore him up with all that pent up passion for him.
