BM/WW IR sightings on TV

Glad to be back . . . for a minute at least :) I really got into it with a showrunner from 90210 on twitter named Liz Szcudlo or something. She was defending one of her break buddies I guess in Shana Stein who was running her mouth like she was a big boss shotcaller on 91020 on the Season 3 DVD. So I took her to task for the horrible storylines Dixon Wilson received while she was the producer of the show (Season 2-Season 5) and how his character just got progressively worse for as long as she was on staff. Liz told me that Shana was merely a non-writing producer and not an executive on the show. So I said well why was she on the DVD running her mouth like she was a big boss?? She gave up secret info that no hardcore fan of 90210 could ever know . . . like Dixon's love interest Sasha (the Black DJ from UCLA in S2) she just made up the whole bit about having HIV . . . well that was news to me and what a shitty way to portray Black women :(

I just thought Dixon didn't catch it I never suspected that it was a malicious lie contrived by a bitter bitch who didn't want to see a former lover moving in the right direction with a petite blonde beauty who was in his class. So Shana gave up inside info on how determined the showrunners where to destroy Dixon and Ivy in such an unforeesable way. What did Dixon do to Sasha that she would go out of her way just to pour salt in his Kool Aid? They had been broken up for a year and she lied about having a miscarriage so this line of writing made no sense. They just DID NOT want that young brother to be happy and they never wanted him to be a primary character once they got the reigns of the show late season 1 (Shana Stein, Rebbeca Rand Kirschner and Liz Scudlo). At the end Liz did concede that it was important to portray strong black men on television and that she understood why so many people were upset with how Dixon was portrayed but that Shana Stein was merely in a technical position and had no control over the writers. Dixon went from the first black male lead on a teen soap (a Harvard Hopeful no less) in S1 to a druggie dropout DJ wannabe in S4; I wanted answers damn it lol
Dan and Shana was hot as hell. Totally agree about how turned her character into that. She couldn't just be really mad that he lied?

You might wanna fix the pics in your post. Just upload the pics to Imgur, than post the imgur URLs.
I hope the pics post proper this time as I just couldn't cut and paste back when I started this thread months ago. All the hyper links work.

I figured out what the problem with your pics not working. You're inserting your pics & gifs as a URL link instead of inserting them as a Image.

Not after they had been broken up for a YEAR. Plus, remember that she had burnt the bridge to him when she told him to lose her number so to speak. He did nothing to incur this inexplicable wrath. To say with a straight face and completely sober that you are having a teen's first child in one thing . . . then you come back around a year later when he has clearly moved on and tell him that he may have contracted HIV from you last fall WTF?!?!? This was malicious writing on the part of RRK and her team because they made Dixon dumber than dogfood in how he handled this issue. Your best friend is a porn prince right (Navi Sharadzi) why not call him and ask if his father has an HIV doctor on retainer who can see you in this emergency?

You told Ivy about catching a quikie in the closet with Silver right so tell Ivy about this incredulous revelation from Sasha!! With Silver you were clearly in the wrong but with Sasha you were manipulated and statutorily raped and it was about a year ago anyway . . . why stand your girlfriend up when her secret garden of love has been marinating all day and night in extra virgin olive oil while awaiting your Bell, Biv, Devoe?? Go talk to her and lay your cards on the table because 1) Ivy asked you for direct communication and everything is all good she said 2) She forgave you for Silver and you told her about that right when for most girls that would have been the kiss of death for your relationship 3) You already aced Sex Education sophomore year since you are a college bound senior and you know first hand that you and Sasha only had basic, bread & butter sex . . . you weren't engaged in anal orgies with IV drug use where heroin was used at some underground LA sex club right? Go talk to Ivy and tell her that Sasha is the biggest liar you have ever met in your life but you wont put Ivy in any potential peril so you keep it status quo until you can get ahold of Navid and see what options you have to get tested ASAP . . . Ivy would probably take charge and get on bing or google and find a 24/7 free STD/HIV health clinic for you because she was such a dream girlfriend . . . and there you have it . . . and anthill that never became a volcano for DIVY :)

Trailer just dropped for The CW's "Dynasty" reboot series:

I am already telling you that this trailer is NOT going to be well received by white conservatives or even white moderates. This series will only last a handful of episodes unless they get big liberal support from the door. I already know what they will be saying about this trailer on youtube, twitter and racist site lol

Romeo & Juliet Sequel ABC Pilot Finds Its Romeo In ‘Scream Queens’ Alum Lucien Laviscount

Young British actor Lucien Laviscount (Scream Queens) has been cast as Romeo opposite Clara Rugaard’s Juliet in ABC drama pilot Still Star-Crossed, from Shondaland and ABC Studios.

Written by Heather Mitchell based on the book by Melinda Taub, Still Star-Crossed is set in 16th century Verona and picks up where William Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet left off. Because of the premise, both Romeo and Juliet are guest-starring roles in the pilot, which charts the treachery, palace intrigue and ill-fated romances of the Montagues and Capulets in the wake of the young lovers’ tragic fate.

The story centers on Rosaline (Lashana Lynch), a gorgeous, intelligent and headstrong Capulet and Juliet’s cousin who is ordered to marry Benvolio (Wade Briggs), a Montague. Regular cast also includes Zuleikha Robinson, Anthony Head, Grant Bowler, Torrance Coombs and Ebonée Noel. Filming of the pilot starts this week in Spain.

Laviscount played the series regular role of Earl Grey on the first season of Fox’s Scream Queens and recurred on Episodes and Skins. He is repped by Gersh, Industry Entertainment and Waring & McKenna.
This show got picked up to series today.

EDIT: FUCCCC!!!!! I just read the description of the show & watched the teaser. The show takes place after Romeo & Juliet die. Romeo & Juliet are only gonna be in the Pilot. I guess I'll only watch the pilot, than quit.
Its Shonda-Fantasy Land out of control again. The main lovers are some white dude from one prominent family and a black female who happens to be the cousin of Juliet. This makes no sense because the story takes place in the same time and setting of Romeo and Juliet, Italy of the 1500s (or is it 1400s?). So how do we get a black cousin of Juliet? Then the announcement came of who would be playing the doomed lovers of Romeo and Juliet in the first episode and Shonda doubled down by making Romeo a black guy. Hello? Give me a break with this nonsense.

The show is based upon a novel by some white female author who came up with an idea of a romantic storyline immediately following the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. Of course in her book none of these main characters are black but when Shonda purchased the rights of course she had to add that element. Shonda can't make shows without putting a black woman front and center. This would be more acceptable if she tried to do an updated version of Romeo and Juliet in a more modern day setting but of course that would make too much sense.

The series premiere of Shonda Rhymes "Still Star-Crossed" is airing right now & I got it on in the background. I see mixed/multi-racial households in this show. I can see why ABC decided to make this a summer show instead of debuting in the Fall or mid-season. This is gonna make racists (even some black folks) mad AF.

2 trailers for Season 2 of "Wynonna Earp" dropped today:

The black guy from Orphan Black is in the new season. They seemed to by the trailer to have nixed on anything happening with her and Dolls with the looks of that shower scene of her and Doc and Dolls seemed to become that raging monster we got a taste of towards the end of season 1. So it seems as though as just another sidekick black guy.

You may be right but to be fair if you looked at trailer for season one you would have never guessed Dolls was a potential love interest for that season.

I thought so too until I just noticed Wynonna Earp has almost an identical premise of Supergirl.

-Lesbian Sister

-Weak IR love angle with a black guy that is a bit standoffish

-White lover who she has been more intimate with

-The black guy becomes a sidekick

-He seems to be asexual, everybody has more of a sex life than him

-Less Screen time even though his name is in the credits right after the female lead

The exact same formula that was used in season 2 of The Following.

Actually a somewhat different formula. Supergirl pretty much had eyes for James alone, only looking temporarily somewhere else because of James' relationship with Lucy. Wyona on the other hand slept with Doc pretty much immediately, and only later was it revealed she had a thing for Dolls too. Also at the end of season one her relationship with Dolls became strained. In a typical setup with all white characters the hookup with Dolls would be more of the long game but I'll admit things are always up in the air when a black guy is involved.

Except when the network is foreign.
Never saw this issue on Degrassi lol

Actually they were flirty with each other all season. From the time they first met, to the time she caught him working out without a shirt on where she became flustered, the way they have looked at each other and use of language towards one another. Every time they made the audience kept thinking something was going to happened they pulled back. Teasing.

Don't think they were flirty with each other in the first few episodes and it is within those first few that she sleeps with Doc. Which was my point. The Doc thing happens immediately. There was no equivalent occurrence on Supergril. Kara was pining for James from pretty much episode one and there was no true rival for her heart in that first year

Which episodes are you talking about? I honestly can't remember exactly, but I do remember those scenes.
But I just looked on youtube and fans of the show already have those fan-made videos of her and dolls and other with her and Doc.

Split the fanbase up like they have done with supergirl, but purposely give the fans of them being with the white guy more intimacy, while leaving the black guy standoffish and a side character. It's almost as if they are subliminally trying to get the fans to lean towards the side they want for the female leads by debasing the black men as lovers.
