After 9 seasons (that's when I stopped watching) the only black person on the show was a HR person oh and cameo with rick fox.LOL. What makes TBBT more racist than any other show?

You stuck with TBBT for 9 seasons? I threw TBBT in the bushes after the 5th season when I got into "How I Met Your Mother" & realized that HIMYM was EASILY the way better CBS sitcom. After 9 seasons (that's when I stopped watching) the only black person on the show was a HR person oh and cameo with rick fox.
The only person of color couldn't speak to women never really had a on screen love interest yet all the socially awkward white guys could some how find mates willing to look past their flaws. Hell Raj is objectively best looking guy and comes from money and is a physicist but some how is always alone. They make constant jokes about his heritage and country of origin. Do you need more?
Honestly I'm not sure. Season 9 was the last I really paid attention to it but got fed up with the blatant racism before thatYou stuck with TBBT for 9 seasons? I've barely made it past the pilot of TBBT lmaoHonestly I'm not sure. Season 9 was the last I really paid attention to it but got fed up with the blatant racism before that

I may have stumbled upon my new favorite show of the new Fall lineup . . . multiple teen IR opportunities abound and healthy hot-blooded white girls are looking at masculine black boys with a glint of sinful assertiveness in their feminine eyes:
Saw the premiere last night and taped it on a whim just because I figured why the hell not but I NEVER expected a CW show to go so hard with the potential teen IR pairings which are so traditionally taboo. If this new show and its showrunners go left and just pull a "FNL" at mid-season to give all the hot morning after glow sex scenes to the "usual suspects" I gonna be done with this whole network lol. Just based from the trailer & pilot of "Legacies" alone we should be "eating good in the neighborhood" on this series as black boys get enveloped in the ivory affections of![]()
The private school/college prepschool teen IR fantasy is my fetish lol and this show has the goods it seems![]()

[Here's a cut and paste of my response to this same clip from the Nerdz thread...]
I actually think this couple, Olivia and Lemuel (Arielle Kebbel and Peter Mensah), may be the best ir couple on tv. They're both talented and important to the group, and they have a realistic (considering the nature of the show) relationship that is clearly genuine and strong.
It also doesn't hurt that they're attractive and make out a lot lol
Hmmmm....Maybe, I should it check out. "Midnight Texas" hasn't been a priority for me because:
1. Without looking it up to be sure, I'm pretty sure Peter Mensah is WAY OLDER than Arielle Kebbel
2. They're already an established couple versus getting together over time.
3. They're Vampires instead of Humans
Well she is not technically a vampire. You would have to watch the first season and the season finale and pay attention to get what I mean. The entire 1st season is on Hulu.
I'd definitely give it a shot. She is unashamedly (and vocally and jealously) into him, but they have their ups and downs during the first season. I'd say they take enough of a journey to make them worth watching for sure.
Taye Diggs was on The Breakfast Club today to promote "All-American", which premieres tonight. Sounds like he's backing off his stance that he talked about earlier this year about not being able to date WW again:
Full interview:
The first thing anybody wants to ask Taye about is white women. SMH
It's an example of racism. Can't imagine any other men from any other racial group being asked about this question. These shitty radio shows are part of the mainstream media and yet they are getting away with this bullshit that shouldn't be tolerated. Gossip is one thing, this though is something different altogether.
What types of outlets are asking Taye about this so often? I actually bet it might come up if DeNiro or Lucas ever did The Breakfast Club. I wanna say I've seen Taye interviewed without it coming up, but I can't guarantee I've seen him interviewed since his marriage ended.
Oh, Oh, Oh They will! They just won't be so negative about it. They'll applaud these white guys and some times even white women for IR dating and being into black women, dipping in chocolate and all of that. But will berate and question a brotha for dating outside his race.
The trailer looks pretty good, but I'm kind of getting bored of the whole power struggle between races and genders hidden concept in some of these shows.
BTW Why did you put up a porn pic? lol. That totally caught me off guard, bro.
The friends are coming back for season 2. What could go wrong? Streaming January 11, only on Netflix.
All American is based on a true story, so I dont know if he actually had a white girlfriend. I didn't really wanna watch because I thought they were gonna put him with the light skin chick, but according to you I guess I turned it off too early and he will be getting with a white girl. But I will definitely watch "Legacies" if they're going Heavy IR^^I cannot wait for the second episode to air tomorrow. I am growing impatient on "All-American" to be quite honest though I understand why they have to slowroll the taboo IR on show like that it seems like it doesn't have its footing yet as it hasn't decided what type of show it wants to be. "Legacies" has come straight out the gate swinging assertively for teen IR lol and they aren't holding their white girls back are they lol!!
Are y'all talking about the lead character on "All-American"? Nobody has ever suggested he would have an IR, so I don't know why y'all are waiting for it. The original trailer that dropped back in May suggested he would have a triangle with Coach Taye Diggs' biracial daughter & her also biracial BFF/the white WR's GF, and that's how the show has played out. Seeing as I'm a regular poster in the "Beautiful Biracial Women" thread in the Men's Locker Room subforum & I look at "All-American" as a black show, I obviously have no problem with the love interests for the lead character. They're both bad AF:^^I cannot wait for the second episode to air tomorrow.
