BM/WW IR sightings on TV

I just found out that "The Lazarus Project" was cancelled last month:

https://collider.com/the-lazarus-project-cancelled

Season 2 still hasn't aired in the U.S. yet. I hope TNT still airs the 2nd season this Summer.

That's a shame. My Summer plans to watch season 2 are still gonna happen regardless though.

I just found out that season 2 of "The Lazarus Project" premiered on TNT a few hours ago. JFC, that means starting Sunday/Monday night next week I gotta juggle the new upcoming season 2 of "House of the Dragon", new/final season of "Power Book II: Ghost", & now the new/final of "The Lazarus Project".

Heads up for the latest season of Bridgerton!

There are 2 potential wwbm couples in the family this time. The newest daughter to enter "society" this season, Francesca, is courted by a dark skinned brotha named Stirling. I think they're both on the spectrum somewhere, so could be a good match.

But the biggest potential shocker is that some rich bald headed brotha swooped in from out of town and clearly has his sights set on the Bridgerton mother! Not much happened there as of episode 4, but they're setting up something. Let's hope it's something good lol

The 2nd half of season 3 just dropped today, so we can all see what happens with all this.

AMC dropped a trailer today for the upcoming 4th & final season of "Snowpiercer" (Looks like TNT cancelled the show after the 3rd season & AMC eventually picked it for this new season):

Long may she roll. The final season of #Snowpiercer premieres July 21 on AMC and AMC+.

Despite the fact that this show has a black male lead with multiple serious IR love interests & I watched the 2014 film years ago, I've never actually bothered with this show. I guess I'll add it to my watch lists now.

Based on last week's episode of The CW's "Walker" (Season 2, Episode 18)... Trey & Walker's new Texas Ranger partner, Cassie Perez (played by Ashley Reyes), are becoming closer platonic friends. Cassie tried to set Trey up with another chick, but Trey spent more time interacting with Cassie. Towards the end they're jokingly talking about becoming roomates because both of them are coincidentally considering moving to the same apartment complex.

So Trey & Cassie on The CW's "Walker" are a relationship to keep an eye on.

Update. A couple of episodes later in last year's season 2 finale of The CW's "Walker", both Trey & Cassie do end up moving into the apartment complex they talked about in the episode I mentioned in this previous post. They have separate apartments, but both of their apartments are in the same hallway. Becuz of that convenience, they end up hanging out in Trey's apartment all the time in the season 2 finale & in the current season 3. So far through last week's season 3 penultimate episode, Trey & Cassie remain just close platonic friends/neighbors/colleagues & each have had other love interests this season. But I'm about to watch the season 3 finale that aired a couple nights ago & looking at the promo clip for the episode, looks like we might finally get some headway:

Update on the "Walker" season 3 finale:
Early in the episode, Walker's Mom has a conversation with Trey about how he should find a women he can be happy with & settle down with. Right after that conversation it seems that Trey finally realizes he has feelings for Cassie. Walker & Cassie are considering an invitation from the FBI to be part of a task force in Washington D.C. that's supposed last 8 weeks over the summer. It's a big potential career move for them. So after this finale episode, I'd say that Trey & Cassie's 'ship went from close platonic friends/neighbors/colleagues into "Will They, Won't They" territory. But obviously the subplot of Cassie & Walker going to D.C. for a couple of months would put the Trey-Cassie 'ship in limbo.

EDIT:

The CW renewed "Walker" for a 4th season last week: https://tvline.com/2023/05/09/walker-renewed-season-4-cw/

I just watched the season 4/series finale of The CW's "Walker" that aired earlier this week, so I can finally update on the Trey & Cassie 'ship...

In the season 4 premiere that aired a few months ago, the show completely pivoted away from the budding Trey & Cassie 'ship. They even had Trey sorta apologizing to Cassie for putting his feelings out there in the season 3 finale and Trey & Cassie are no longer neighbors like they were in the season 2 finale - all of season 3. I was hoping the show was just dragging out the 'ship for even longer, but instead they eventually gave Cassie another love interest (who ended up dying) and Trey & Cassie just remained platonic.

Hulu put out a trailer for the upcoming season 2 of "Unprisoned" a couple weeks ago:

The Alexander family is still a mess. Paige’s (Kerry Washington) therapy practice is in trouble, Finn’s (Faly Rakotohavana) anxiety is through the roof, Edwin (Delroy Lindo) is still figuring out how to get his life together outside of prison, and their relationships are more complicated than ever. The family needs help, and it’s time to call in a professional – OTHER than Paige. The Alexanders turn to a “family radical healing coach,” who throws out all the rules to free them of the issues, old wounds and family secrets holding them back. Stream Season 2 of UnPrisoned on July 17, only on Hulu!

That's just pathetic and she's not even White. lol

Was Bobby Lashley part of this Hurt Business stable during his storyline involving him & Lana?:

I Don't Think So.
I looked it up. It seems like The Hurt Business stable was at the beginning stages of forming by MVP becoming Bobby Lashley's Manager during the last month of the Bobby-Lana 'ship:

MVP gives The All Mighty something to think about, much to Lana’s chagrin. #WWERAW

After a heated argument regarding Bobby Lashley, The All Mighty’s wife Lana slaps MVP. #WWERAW

After Lana cost him the WWE Championship at WWE Backlash, The All Mighty seemingly brings his marriage to an end. #WWERaw

Anyways something to look out for, the WWE might be pushing a new onscreen IR 'ship between Jey Uso & Rhea Ripley (Who I've previously posted about in the "Women who play sports" thread: https://www.whitewomenblackmen.com/forum/threads/women-who-play-sports.30594/#post-1193327

Clips from this week's episode of "Raw":

Main Event Jey Uso stopped by The Judgment Day’s locker room on Monday Night Raw to confirm that Rhea Ripley was indeed single after Dirty Dom’s tag team match with Liv Morgan. WWE World Heavyweight Champion encouraged Dom to put Uso in his place.

Jey Uso takes on “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio as Mysterio’s night continues to derail.

After his big win over "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, Jey Uso ponders the prospect of a single Rhea Ripley.

Also looks like they been teasing Jey & Rhea for almost a year:

Whilst verbally sparring with "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes hits a deep jab at the NXT North American Champion, suggesting that perhaps Rhea Ripley has eyes for "Main Event" Jey Uso.

Jey is samoan not Black.

There is a show called The Lady In The Lake and Natalie Portman has a Black love interest.

Not feeling the vibe of the concept from the trailer. Feels kind of Them:Covenant-ish

But it looks like she is either having an affair with the brotha or it was a One Night Stand. (kissing scene at 2:02)
