Breastfeeding In Public

A lot of our beer commercial are mostly blokes hanging out being stupid. Real men of genius? Yeah, right.

I'm not saying that I approve of nudity in public. And I don't necessarily approve of the picture of the woman who is damn near half naked for any kind of public consumption IRL. I didn't and would never breastfeed a child like that in public. I wan't the child to eat...not have to go to jail because I have no common sense.

Honestly the only point im really making is this: in my first post, i talked about the business man who asked me to nurse my child in a public bathroom obviously made a big deal about me nursing in public to begin with. In public I always used the nursing shirts where you can't see anything anyway. But I bet that same buisness man wouldn't ask some implant sporting model with 75 percent of her fake boobs showing to go drink her beer in the bathroom.

 

I'm not sure I even get the argument against breastfeeding in public.

Is it that someone has an exposed sex organ?

 

Pretty much.

 

And this is the end result of an over-sexualized society. Our sexual hangups now takes priority over the natural intent of the human body. You know, before the womans titties became our funbags they were breasts and their natural function is the feeding and nourishment of the child. It should never be shameful for a woman to feed her child. Actually, I think it speaks more to the immaturity and mental imbalances of those who condemn her for doing so.

And don't try to compare it to you pissing in public. Yes, pissing is just as natural as breast feeding, but it is very different in that it is the removal of waste from your body. If we all walked around pissing and shitting anywhere we wanted, we'd be a disease ridden and filthy society.

Totally co-sign this. Technically, a woman's breasts aren't considered gemitalia as is a penis, so it's not a fair argument. Genitalia refers to reproductive organs. Breasts are considered objects of sexual desire, but that's not their primary purpose.

 

Absolutely nothing wrong with a mother nourishing her child, most doctors say it is the best thing for the child. I believe most folks don't have a problem as long as the mom is discreet.

In New York, women can show their breast in public.

 

I have no problem with women breastfeeding in public. I just look straight and keep it moving.
