We just lost Bob Gibson a couple of weeks ago and now Joe Morgan? Sheesh. These were my baseball heroes growing up and part of the reason I love the game as much as I still do.

I remember working at the Indians ballpark back in the mid 90's and Mr. Morgan was kind enough to give me an autograph while he was working color commentary for ESPN.

Just a great man all around plus his knowledge of the game and it's history was incredible. It was so educational and entertaining to hear him on TV. Joe Morgan will sorely be missed. R.I.P.
