In addition, in some cultures a thicker physique is considered better or healthier, for example I read somewhere that in ancient Polynesian societies, bigger women were preferred because it was believed they could survive the long ocean journeys they often went on in the outrigger canoes from island to island.

LOL women kill me with the "in ancient times" bit. It's 2010 and let me put it to rest. Back in the olden days there was black plague, cholera, smallpox, typhoid, TB, all kinds of stuff out there killing people. If you could get to over 120 pounds it was a big deal. The royal class was most healthy. Big girls were considered most fertile. You would have like 10 kids figuring at least a few would die. That's why bigger women were more prized back then.

Now it is the inverse. In a world of plenty, the skinny are prized because they obviously have the will power to resist the food temptations out there (supposedly). And WW have more problems with weight than any other group of women.

I don't mind a curvier girl at all, I even like them, but women be grasping at straws with their "in the olden days" bit. Just get in where you fit in ladies. Plenty of men like you.

Lol I would never do criminal law. I wouldn't feel comfortable helping murders and child molestors go free. I think I'm more of a tax law kind of guy.

Yeah I always get a chuckle when women bring up "medieval times" and shit like that. Cracks me up trying to justify them being out of shape.

But I think you are incorrect with white females having more weight problems than other groups of women. Pretty sure that black and hispanic women have a great deal of health problems of their own.

You are most welcome as I have said many times in the past, you are one of my favorite posters here. You have a great logical reasoning to your thinking, and are possessed of an outstanding intellect.

On a side note, your picture is cool, the Mrs. and I honeymooned in Barbados, great country for the most part, although I never saw so much incredible wealth right next door to such blinding poverty in my life. It was like.. five star resort...five star resort...ramshackle hut....five star resort....homeless guy....ect.

No no no, white women's problems are with self-esteem and weight, not "health issues." I've seen/heard 350 lb black and hispanic women swear they look good.

Something else that cracks me up is people like you all "concerned" with big women's "health issues." You don't care if they're actually healthy you just think they're disgusting.

LMAO! This is why you're missed Sugar. That straight to the heart of the matter, no holds barred, honest, non-ass kissing approach of yours is stellar! :smt008

    Well that too.;)
But I am pretty concerned with how unhealthy the United States is as a whole (not just women). Child obesity is a huge problem as well.

I wanted you to know that I didn't forget you!

I had to e-mail a friend for the name because I can't think of it for ANYTHING. I'm hoping she remembers.

You're right! That's exactly what I was getting at in the chubby chaser's thread.... the "health" concern is only a thinly veiled excuse for being rude.
