In cosmopolitan, multicultural Melbourne, Australia, I'm betting as 'Black'. See, the same hang-ups about one's Blackness that exist here, don't there. Being black is pretty much just that...it's your heritage, next. Since his father is from Barbados, he most likely goes by his heritage, as we all do there if we are children of immigrants. Thus he's a first generation Barbadian-Australian.

Many times honestly in all the examples I have seen the people hung up on skin tone most is the darker skin tones. Light skin chicks get with darker dudes all the time.
