ps: U do know that if he did that to a person who was licensed to carry he'd be dead, forget busted bones. Stabbing someone is attempted murder, and shooting him in defense is justifiable homicide.

I know YOU say they shouldn't have done what they did, so please tell us what they should've done in defense, since he had a knife and was stabbing them and all they had were their hands? Asked him to please stop stabbing them?

He stabbed one person and there were 4 marines, who I'm assuming are well trained for combat...yes? If they were able to beat the shit out of him, they were obviously able to restrain him too. So it's really not that difficult for them to 'not' break bones.
