I don't mean to extend the thread. But since we're on the topice of hip-hop and it is MLK day yesterday. Check out Commons new song "I have a dream". Now that's beautiful hip-hop. That's what hip-hop is all about.

Common is one of the few rappers who does not let anyone influence his music, and he does music to help people out. Not for the money. Infact he makes as much as the average Joe. So how good the music is when it is white free?

    Nobledruali,

I never said in the "Black Ghetto Culture" past posts that your statements to me were rude and crude eventhough I did think that silently in my mind. Read my posts. The only time when I have mentioned it is now. What I did say to you was that we were having a miscommunication and said let us discuss this in FlashChat. It was my first time in FlashChat, and I was new using the system. I sent the message that I was in there. However, I did not receive a response from you; I believe it was due to the fact that I was using the system wrong.

As far as I am concerned, you did make sarcastic remarks and had a lot of vague questions concerning my "Black Ghetto Culture" posts yet did not offer an opinion or even expressed what it was you disagreed with about my posts. I would have appreciated if you engaged with me more about your concerns. That is why I said let us speak in FlashChat.

You disrespectfully asked me why I posted on the website in the first place--this is after I posted my introduction statement in the Welcome Center. I felt that you did not want me on this website. Also, you made a smart remark about me finding the forum that Silver started on influential Black men in IR relationships in America. I thought that was sly and disrespectful. This is why I felt "picked on" and treated like an "enemy". I felt that you were not truly interested in engaging in dialogue with me at all, but trying to make me feel unwelcomed.

Since you do not desire to communicate with me on a respectful and meaningful level. I do agree it is best that we do "ignore" each other. I want to stay on this site and enjoy the forums in peace.

    Peace

    Jacklyn

That is fine by me but it would have been nice if you would have posted your response in the other forum where you voiced most of your displeasure with me very strongly before! We can split hairs over words all day if you like but the only one that IS NOT being open minded about exchanging ideas is you! So again I say it is what it is so feel free to respond to my posts or NOT! That is after all your right! Have a nice day if you can :!: :!: :!:
