Maybe you should write a 'How To' book babe, seems like there's been a lot of men lately looking for advice on this subject.

I've often thought about that. Could be fun.

I'm sure the research for the book would be enjoyable. ;)

I have some bad news MovingWest,

From your description, it sounds as though I'm as light as you and I've never, EVER had a white woman find me attractive. They just don't go for me. It's so hopeless, I haven't even been able to get pity sex. That's a damn shame, aint it?

Nonetheless, I will keep trying because the only thing that beats a failure is a try and I'll be damned if I fail at trying though I would fail at failing because I certainly try!

That's some good advice andrae. Guys usually fall into one of three categories: The one where the guy gets so intent on finding a woman/women that they do whatever it takes until they find what they're looking for, the one where the guy snaps and harms others (and sometimes himself - i.e. George Sodini), and the one where the guy just kind of fades into a state of neutrality and focuses on himself (the one that I fall into). In my teens and early twenties I was so embarrassed about my lack of success with women that I used to lie (especially online), change the subject, or keep quiet when the fellas were having 'guy' conversations. But focusing on myself, embracing my geeky nature, and recognizing my qualities has really done wonders for my self esteem and I don't care if guys laugh at me or if women think little of me.

Yeah I think most men line in order to get women when they're younger so don't feel bad about that I think its normal. I'm happy you started focusing on you because your attitude about yourself is the aroma of your heart and soul. If it smells bad no one wants to be around it.

Lying never got me anywhere with women (it was mainly just guys that I lied to by the way), and neither did honesty, but honesty did set me free from self imprisonment, and it felt good.

I don't think most guys do it into their twenties, by that time they've lost their virginity. And so, socially speaking, I'm very anomalous. Also, African Americans are less likely than any other ethnic group in the country to have never had sex, so that's like...double the strangeness.

Me too man, me too. Never before had I experienced such inner peace.

I guess that's true to an extent. There's a lot of different ways that one could look at that.

    Why is that? Religious reasons?

Nah. Once I turned twelve, that's when I really started to question Christianity and began to turn away from the "good book". I haven't been religious for a very long time.

I think that any guy can have sex if he wants to, if he's willing to lower his standards enough. There's always the three hundred pound girl that you ignored, or the one with the rotten teeth, or the one with the eye patch - you get the picture. So, I can't really say that it's because I haven't had opportunities. Can't really say it's 'cause of my looks. I've never been fat, my height matches up with my weight, I have all of my teeth, my face is decently proportioned. My friend used to say "Girls like you, it's just that the girls you like don't like you". If anything, it's probably my personality. I think my personality is boring to most people. Have you ever watched The Boondocks? I'm a lot like Huey and my brother is exactly like Riley. If you could see us conversing and compare it to the way that Huey and Riley contrast, you'd get a good laugh.
