Word it's like the chubbier girl wants to prove a point . I remember this voluptuous girl doing things to me and me doing things to her which is still etched in my mind. Its just that the always trying to assure them they are beautiful bit can be weary at times.
 
I have been described as "thick" and BBW. I'm a size 16 and although I am working on lowering that size (got up to a size 24)....I LOVE SEX!!! I was in a LTR and even though he now has a new GF he still tries to hit me up because I rocked his world:-P.....You have to be confident in who you are and work with what you have got! I like BM because I have found them to be far more pleasant regarding my size. One minute my ex loved my confidence and my shape and the next he would call me a fat ass....And now his gf is quite a bit larger than me....The BM that have shown interest always seem sincere and I just wish I would come across more men who like me!:mrgreen:

Ok, I have a question, and if it's been discussed before, forgive me.

What is the difference between thick & chubby? At what point does it go from acceptable to unacceptable? (For the majority of men). I realize each person has their own standard/preference but I remember seeing a poster who seemed to be ok with someone who's a size 16, but in another post said that chubby chasing wasn't for him in any way. I, being plus-size myself, consider anything sz 16+ to be chubby. When I was doing the online dating thing, I described myself as plus-size (even though I was a size 14 then) because I considered "average" to be a sz 8 or 10.

I don't play games with the whole body size thing. I want someone who likes me for who I am. Having grown up with the idea that only thin is sexy, it was refreshing to discover that sexy isn't just a look or body type. It's an attitude and not just for thin people.

I think this changes from men to men. Some prefer big boobs, others big butt etc. I know sometimes it's difficult to separate fat and chubby.

For me fat is when there are a lot of flab. (I emphasize on a LOT of it). Some woman may be size 16 + but there are no flab. Some may be smaller and yet there are flab.

Here is an example of a chubby woman, she was a finalist in miss UK.

But most guys that I know (me included) love big woman.. Sex is just better and juicy. So don't worry, if a guy gives you crap about your weight/size, bounce and find someone that can appreciate it and please you.

I can understand how you might think this. But in my experience, it's not that we turn to BM because WM don't want us, it's that the BM who prefer bigger women are much more vocal about & apppreciative of us. They aren't ashamed to feel that way, they actually like our curves, and they dont treat us like we're the default because they cant get a slim woman. They are deliberate in their choice of a bigger woman, whereas it seems that alot of white guys who say they like bigger women default to us because they are big themselves & figure we should automatically want them because we're big too. Does that make sense?

In the end, it doesn't matter what color or race you are, slim people are perceived to be the norm. So if you like anything outside of the norm, it's often assumed that you tried but couldn't get the norm so you content yourself with something outside th norm rather than that you actually find beauty in something else.

I respect that, PO, but from your pix, wieghtlifting is an activity that you devote yourself to. If that's important to you in a partner, then you definitely need to seek someone for whom fitness is a priority.

I never had a weight problem until I got pregnant. My metabolism just seemed to grind to a halt after that. Efforts to lose weight over the years were largely unsuccessful for me, even with time spent in the gym. And I'm not fond of exercise anyway. I have never lost weight in a healthy way - only by not eating and more recently, taking meds for diabetes. I have a hard time getting excited about exercise because I don't see results.

people dont understand is that you can still be "overwieght" and still be in better shape than people who are "skinny" . I was in the military and there were people who were "overweight" according to the military but could out run and do more situps than most of the unit...including me.

As far as Im concern as long as you are not grossly overweight and you are happy with yourself then Im good

I could always tell when the periodic fitness test was coming up - the ex would start exercising just enough to get by. Lol!

I'm not sure I understand the meaning of 'chubby chasing', would it be deliberately choosing someone overweight or just falling for someone who happens to be overweight?

If it's option a) then no, never. Idk, physical attraction doesn't hold up on it's own & no-one's perfect(if this thread was about teeth, I'd be in the corner sulking, haha), but everyone has things that really turn them off and fat is one of mine. I'm never going to be a chubby chaser, but if everything else is really strong, weight can become a non-issue. I have an ingrained desire to cook for people though, so probably fattened-up a few exes >.>

Gotta say though, a lot of big girls have great boobs, shame men don't get any ++s from weight gain :P
