some other persuasion. I went out the other night and I saw four or five couples where the black men were out with white women, not counting the couples in my building that are interracial (black man/white woman). Seems like in DC it's more accepting.

Does anyone think that black men in DC seem to prefer white women or is it just my imagination?
 
I was in DC about 5 years ago and didn't see very many IR couples. I went to a club there called "Dream" and I was one of the only white women there....if that has changed over the last few years that would be great. I love that city :)
 
I live in DC right now and I don't see any IR couples that much at all what club was you at, most of the white women here act like they are scared of blacks.

how you're not seeing it. The other day I went out to a club and on the subway I saw two couples (black guys with white women), When I was leaving the club (Ozio's near M Street), I saw two IR couples on M Streetand at the club I saw a black man pick up a hot white woman. Also saw a black guy leaving with a hot asian woman. In my apartment building, I have seen at least two if not three IR couples (BM with WW) who live in my building. I think I may see it more (have more of an eye for it) because in my hometown, it's just not as common, but in Washington it seems to be pretty accepted now.
 
Make a list of the clubs Greatguy so the others can come to DC in the future and have fun. I thought mostly the WW in DC go after lobbiests,govt and city officials.
 
You may want to try

Ozio's on M Street (sometimes) although it is predominantly black.

Try Local 16 on U Street (I just went there but personally didn't think it was all that but then again I went during the week rather than on the weekend)

I might try Chief Ikes too this coming weekend on Columbia because it's a reggae type spot and my experience has been that it seems that white women in such places tend to be more liberal.
 
This is just my opinion but for any man (let alone a black one) who tells me that he's having trouble picking up white women in the DC-MD-VA area is just a loser. I've been around that area many, many times and i see tons of black men with hot white girls. Granted, many of the white women date either the "Beltway" type or the Fortune 500 kind but you can still make it happen.

Again, just my opinion.
 
Surprising

It's just a little surprising to me because I'm from Atlanta and it just doesn't seem nearly as common there.

Does anyone else have any ideas as far as decent pickup spots in DC?
 
Come on now Cris ol injera ain't no loser I have better chances with Indian women than white. I have lived in DC damn near all my life most of the ww that will holler are from MD no DC.

I've lived in DC for years and although I wouldn't go nearly as far as Greatguy and speculate that black men in DC seem to prefer white women, I would say that interracial couples (both hetero- and homosexual) aren't at all uncommon here. Although I can't attest to anything going on in the clubs, my line of work puts me in contact with a lot of couples and families and a good number of them, as it happens, are interracial and multiracial. Whether they got together in the clubs or at the Hirschhorn, I don't know. All I know is that they live and thrive in my community.

Injera, you've just encountered (even if not in person) a white woman who doesn't act as if she's scared of blacks.

One reason most of the white women in DC maybe scare of black is that most are from other states and brought their fear of black with them.

The club scene in DC is dying and have been replaced by social events for not only white professionals but black professionals as well. These events charge and average $45 everyone is welcome except the people who can't afford it and it also keep the riff raff out.

Hello to everyone. Just new to the group and want to say that I have a lust and passion for white women and have dated many from around the world. It all rolls into one being themselves and always approach with respect. And that goes for any women for that matter. After some ice breaker conversation you can then determine in which way to pursue it for fun or for something more.

Much respect to all and ladies hit me up if you near VA,NC,MD,DC.... I love to be laid back and easy with it.

That's because the of the fear of black crime. It's the same in London. Black males in groups of more than two who happen to be speaking loudly, nothing more, will cause white people on the train to become physically uncomfortable.

Hearing about the nearly weekly stabbings/shootings commited by one black male against another of course doesn't help.
 
I see where you are coming from but none of the blacks in DC are attacking white people it is mostly black on black crime sad but true, I have been living here for years, now I have some white friends that are pretty cool it is just that they don't date blacks,not really a problem for me as I am seeing someone at this time.
