since i lived in Mexico and Texas, i love Mexicans. San Antonio is one of my favorite cities. Also in south Texas it is great--the love of my life--first love is from Guadalajara Mexico

i have dated Argentinians, brazilians, columbians, hondurans and costa ricans, puerto ricans, and can say i love them all, but the brazilian and the argentinian i loved for their intellect too, and the others for their lovely faces and passionate lives

You guys are still mistaken -- slender/skinny/thin...etc does not mean "boyish" and "thick" does not mean "Curvy."

Curvy = hourglass = feminine. Curvy does not equal thick and not by any stretch of the imagination. As I stated before, a thin women is more likely to have the hourglass figure then the thick chick. That thick chick is more likely to have higher testosterone levels - which is of course a prominent male trait. Read through that whole web page as proof. That thin women maybe more WOMEN than that thick chick and vice versa. You now only sound like white men who put down black men for their preference of beauty. That is quite hypocritical.

I agree! The androgynous look is desired in high fashion modeling.

Ok...so you like thick women, that does not mean she is more feminine than a slender chick OR even feminine at all. You are attracted to white women and Latins for a reason and it is not because of her "whiteness" or their culture either mate!

In fact, you can not even prove thick = curvy.

Fully agree! Funny that the women that feel sexiest, no matter what her body type, are found sexy by the most men.

no one is here to prove anything, we are talking about what we like as individuals. thick is curvy where i live and i love white and latin women because they are white or latinas and i love them individually.

i like them thick, which is very feminine, and i dont like them too thin nope.

So how do you wager what is feminine to what is not!? Obviously, you feel like femininity is subjective but science will prove otherwise. Even the tone of that last post proves it. Mind over Matter!!!

it seems that you are the only one who believes that femininity is just one certain thing, while many others do not. it is not a science it is the way in which one behaves or carries oneself. therefore, a woman can be thin and not be feminine, while a voluptious, thick, curvaceous woman can t very feminine. From May West, to Marilyn Monroe, to Gina Lola Bridgida, these women had full bodies, what we call thick here. There were and still are considered the epitome of femininity while women like calista flockhart, kate moss, etc are not considered feminine.

they change with the country, region, culture, time period. What is feminine in latin america is not so in north america and so on

I'm surprised that you didn't say they needed to get on some black meat...that would have been an easy and cheap joke!

I honestly find slim women and curvy women to be sexy. I mean, I think it depends on the girl and how her body is as a whole. Seems like there's been quite a bit of backlash at the fashion industry. Yes, many of the women in the fashion industry don't have realistic figures that resemble the everyday woman.

On the other hand, I've seen that some black men like their women tooo thick. I mean thick is good, but I think some black women have taken it too far (no offense). Statistics show that currently black women have the highest rate of obesity in America. I'm not sure why.... but I wouldn't be suprised if being praised so much on being thick just went a little too far. On the other hand, I can't single out black women, because supposedly 1/3 of America is overweight because of the increase in processed foods, and high carbohydrate, high cholesterol eating habits that the Western culture has evolved into.

Then again, to each his own. Though scientific research determines when someone is or isn't overweight, it is up to each individual to accept their best lifestyle of living. But as far as slim women, I think I would prefer a slimmer woman, as long as she has some sort of definition to her body and doesn't have those muscles shaped like a pole.<< (Lately, Lindsay Lohan and Hillary Duff are the epitome of that). But I would never write off a shapelier, thicker woman as being an ineligible partner, I just think like anyone else, it's a preference.
