Michael Keaton's portrayal of Batman/Bruce Wayne was, indeed, great. He had the soul of Batman, while showing us, as Bruce Wayne that he had grown up a responsible man about town with a tragic past. He was a surprise given his film past in comedies. Christian Bale's portrayal was that of Bruce Wayne's journey to becoming Batman. Val Kilmer's portayal was very physical, brooding and he wore the costume well. George Clooney was simply the best looking Batman. If I could see or say anything about the Christopher Nolan Batman films would be the style in which they were filmed. Nolan is using that same approach for Man Of Steel. Honestly, I think Superman should have a different approach. But, DC and WB want Nolan on all their superhero projects. I have a lot of respect for Nolan. But, like Composer Hans Zimmer(who worked on the Batman scores with James Newton Howard and also on Man Of Steel), he may be imitated to the point where it is used up and silly.

Coincidentally, if any of you recall the mid-90's action film Assassin's with Sylvester Stallone and Antonio Banderas, Banderas' character was named Miguel Bane, or it may be spelled Baine or Bain(he was more fun than Rath) and Stallone's Robert Rath. Interesting choice names for heroes and villains.

I agree Bale was a better Bruce Wayne than Batman. But this series was about Bruce's journey. That was the focus all thoughout.

Well when I see a nigga, I'll ask him if he feels the same way.

Your mean spirited rebuke aside. I did go to college for a while. I had to leave for health and financial reasons.

My original point is that Higher Education is given too much weight as a symbol of status.

    DEFINITELY concur! Lol

    Hallelujah!

I agree with that comment, but I think that there is a value to learning as a virtue in and of itself, regardless of the status it is given. I think everyone should have a higher education just for personal development, whether digging ditches or performing scientific research.

    Agreed.
