Divine Kiss

Lips so full, soft and wet,
pressed against mine,
as we set,
a sensuous pace,
nice and slow.
sparking naughty thoughts
as we go.

Deeper it gets,
stroking my fire,
lighting me up,
with intense desire.

You dip your tongue,
reaching out to mine,
kissing me so good,
it's simply divine.

~K. Y. Brevard

Desire

Taking off
my clothes
piece by piece,
I turn to you,
unwrap my body,
feel you trace
its contours
with your fingers.

I am accustomed
to covering,
what I now bare,
watch you waken
and wash me
with your eyes.

I feel the cloth
of your skin,
uncovered,
inviting me in,
feel your breath
warm in my ear.

I lean closer
into you, feel
your blood surge
as you hold me
and I echo
the beat pulling
on us as I wrap
my legs around you
and open as morning
glories do
when the sun
warms them.

-C. Wadsworth

You Touch Me

I like to look at you
asleep on your side, face
cradled by down soft pillow,
I like to read
you like a poem, slowly
attending to the detailed
lines about the eyes
slipping under lids, lips
pursed as if about to kiss.

In this, your nightly cruise,
you take leave
from port of day's
forgotten worlds meeting
off course to sail along
the sea of dark
through strings of island stars,
at the masthead bearing on
toward sun about to be
uncovered.

I like to see you stir
when into the small
cupped petal of you ear,
my whisper drifts:
touch me, touch me
I like to watch you rise
as if some foreign tongue
you once spoke came
suddenly back to you, watch
you fix a course across
the sheeted light onto
the continent of my body.

~ A. Zawinski

The Smoldering Kiss

Antagonizing pleasure
Placed upon my lips
Where dreams come true
In just one kiss!

Sharing an afternoon of ecstasy
Closing the door on reality
Not even the thickest iceberg
Could melt the lust I feel inside!

I shed my fears faster than my clothes
The anticipation begins to unfold
My heart begins to pound faster
As you come closer

Just one look from your eyes
And I become hypnotized
A river of sins, to which I concede
Just one kiss, caused the undoing of me!

Your lips gently pressed against mine
A silent submission of tongues intertwined
My mouth tenderly pressed against yours
My voice trembles as you start to explore

Electric shocks as your tongue touches mine
An erotic dance of passing time
My heart's racing as fast as yours
My body's craving for something more!

Starving and Craving
For an evening
Of erotic bliss
Where dreams come true
In Just One Kiss.

~ Unknown

The Game Of Lust

Tongue and fingers
Toy with your treasures
Erotic play things
Enhance our pleasures
A base carnal urge
That primitive must
Satisfies desire
Of our guiltless lust

~P. Curtis

Sublime Moment

Living sculpture
Entwined in embrace
Sublime ecstasy
Etched within each face

The Sweetest Dream

Last night I had the sweetest dream.

I dreamt of soft rays of bright morning light that filled my room

Everything was white

And you were here with me

I dreamt of you with your gentle warm smile as you woke up beside me

Your dark smiling eyes full of contentment and love

The intoxicating feeling of your fingertips as you caressed my face and touched my trembling lips

Your sweet caresses as your hands followed the curves of my body

I adored, kissed and admired your handsome face, soft skin and hard body

I trembled, not out of fear, but out of contentment because I wanted so much more of you

Then you kissed my lips, my neck, and my body as your hands traveled over me

They were the sweetest kisses with the hottest and slowest burn

And at that moment the whole world seemed right

Perfect

Wonderful

Peaceful

Your lips were so soft, so wanting, so needing

Your tongue, so comforting, so enticing

It was as if your mouth was saying, "I need you, I want you, I am yours."

And your caress was saying, "You don't have to worry anymore. I am here and your heart is safe with me."

My eyes shed tears, not out of pain or sadness, but out of unbridled passion, joy and love for you

You smiled at me while you kissed away my tears and my heart melted in your hands

I felt complete

I felt perfect

I felt at peace and I felt beautiful

For that moment I was yours and you were mine

I dreamt of you last night

I dreamt of you, of me, of us, of what could be

And everything was perfect

Everything was perfect, because you were here with me

Bonds of Love
by Earl

Flickering light of candle glow
Background music soft and low
Dancing shadows have no mass
Forgotten wine warms in the glass

The gentle caress of loving hands
What the other needs each understands
Impassioned lovers warm embrace
Athirst bodies interlace

Excitement burns to wild desire
Lips and fingers fuel the fire
Urgent needs and wanton lust
Inhibitions wane replaced by trust

The world shut out from this magical tryst
This place and each other are all that exist
An intimate bond that transcends the flesh
Where hearts, minds and bodies intermesh

Would You?
by D. Hepburn

If I lay in the cool of the moss
Soft and pleasing to my senses,
And listened to the wings of the
Bees and butterflies
As they gently fluttered by,
Leaving their honey
Like a golden trail along the crevices
Of my skin,
Would you touch me
Like the damp dew on morning grass?
Their emerald tendrils, pristine and seductive,
Making me tremble
As your lips part mine.

The azure sky is my cover
And the pine cones waft around me
Leaving me open, exposed
To the nectar of your love.
Would you take me there again
and feel me, taste me -
Love me till I'm spent?
Would you make a rainbow from our sweat
Or a love arch of magnolias
Whose soft petals match my own.
And how would you kiss me
If you took me there again?

Your Seduction
by Kerry202

Your words in whispers excite my heart
Fill my mind with passion unexplored
Your soft lips seduce as they linger where pressed
My body now longing, begging for more
The touch of your hands as they wander
Sends chills racing deep within
The heat of your body close so close to mine
Is sweet pleasure indulging my skin
Desires overwhelm me, yet I cant get enough
I crave everything that is you
I get lost in your eyes, and am swept away
By each sultry, hypnotizing move.

leeches
by Amber S

we were never friends.
we were leeches. sucking.
feeding
the life from each other

exhaustion
that's all i ever felt afterward
you would speak to me

how did i not notice?
the smoke, like snakes, swirling
around you?
your eyes suddenly narrow, red?

how? how? how?

did i not notice
the knife hidden behind
your back?

oh, i saw the knife finally
but only.

only

when it was wedged deep in me
and my own blood

surrounded me

what a stupid game we played.
no straight answers.
headaches.
late nights.

waste. waste. waste.

i bet you enjoyed yourself.

yes, we were leeches
but you were the fatest one
sucking every drop i had
until i was dry. dry. dry.

with your lovely eyes
and smile. you'd
convince me.

why was i blind?

i'm free now, did you know?
i sleep. i eat.

i live.

and without you
life has never been better

Because
by Chris G J Smith

You can't cry in silence
Without making a sound
You can't hide locked away
Without ever being found

You can work without end
Never stopping to rest
Exhaustion will take you
When you are past your best

Love with seek you out
When dark streets you roam
You feel you are forever lost
But love will guide you home

As sorrow drags you down
Taking you deeper into despair
Don't believe you face being alone
Because your friends will be there

Love Is Believable
by Lisa Zaran

love is believable
in every moment of exhaustion
in every heartbroken home
in every dark spirit,
the meaning unfolds...

...in every night that sings
of tomorrow. in every suicide
i carry deep inside my head.
in every lonely smile
that plays across my lips.
love is believable i tell you,
in every scrap of history,
in every sheen of want.

what can be wrong
that some days i have a tough time
believing.
and in each chamber of my heart
i pray.

Insomniac
by Cierrah Pack

Restless, awake at night
Through fiery, burnt eyes opened tight
With red-laced pupils, retina, and an iris
Skin at the temperature of frosty ice
Transformed into a vampire seeking to sleep

But the nightmares do not allow me to relax
Being alone in the dark having vivid thoughts in cracks
Of what is unknown and nonexistent
Or persistently thinking of what I ingested in hesitance
To cause this commotion of twisted dreams

I have been an insomniac creature for weeks
Sitting with my eyes glued to the brightest screen
Odd that blindness has not found its way to me
When there is a stream of heavy presences
Causing my eyelids to droop down to a closed door

Something is fighting the exhaustion upon my body
And the tiredness that bleeds through my fiery, burnt eyes
Maybe if you tell me a bedtime story, I can escape the night
Skin warm at the temperature of summer's ocean
I am just a vampire seeking to sleep

Stay Up Late
by Jake McKowen

Stay up late, pushing past exhaustion into perfection of perception.
Understanding of self is essential for this existential extollment.
Extollment? I meant extinguishment. Can't convey if I'm projecting.
Stream of conciousness leads to extreme unconciousness.
Writing without pushing, thinking, or stopping. Only feeling.
Or am I knowing more than I'm feeling? Do I even know what I feel?
No knowing noes the feeling of thoughts fought back, you know.
Liar.
I don't know if noing frees the feelings pushed back from focused thought.
Was that even a sentence? Know!
Do freed thoughts flee? Where to? How so? What then?
No.

In Your Image
by Hannah LePage

Under the sun, you shine like the incarnation of youth

At nightfall you glow, like you just made love to the moon
You are elegance, you are patience, you are reflection, you are still

Your beauty shines from your inside out,
Reaching outward upward into the skies,
Your branches know no realm too high,
Your roots know no soils too deep
There are no limits to your courage

Under the sun
Your fruitful seeds spill out over your skin
You are open hands and generosity
You are selflessness

Under the moon
You are wisdom, enlightenment and truth
You are humility and grace

But your sacredness is undervalued at best, neglected and challenged
They raid you, from your insides out
Deep inside your mines and your waters so deep
Scavenging for a dollar
exploiting all they reap
Sucking the air right out of your lungs
You are exhaustion, you are bare
You are forgotten

Yet still your tides rise and fall with the moon
You are forgiveness, you are hopeful, you are inspiration

In your image I will teach my children to grow
Through your eyes, I will show them the world
With your hands I will build their home

"Those who contemplate the beauty of the earth find reserves of strength that will endure as long as life lasts." - Rachel Carson

Insomnia
by Andrew Castillo

Nighttime
Sleepless once more
State of mind: morose
Fragile being
Eyes, bloodshot
Jittery
Dark circles
Going around and around
Paleness
Exhaustion
Greetings insomnia
Welcome to my humble abode
Stay for the night
Let us begin a game of will
And see who shall be victor

A Long Day's Thoughts
by Amber Cunningham

Mindless indulgence,
Constant self-diagnoses,
Prayers for a purpose.

Yearning for instant gratification,
Exhaustion from constant toil and turmoil,
Motivation checked out.

Numb...
Kind of bothersome...
Thoughts racing...
Into a blur.

Slow it down?
Speed it up?
This pace is unsettling to my soul.

Join me, please, for just a moment.
Let’s lay amongst the forget-me-nots,
To keep my memory from fading from yours.

Behind the venetian blinds
Lay opportunities
Beyond your mind’s horizon.
But you keep them closed,
Chances shut out like the sun.

I turn my head, look toward the sky,
Taking care of my own life,
Doing myself right this time.

I still care for you,
But no more than I am supposed to.
I found that limits
Are not as constricting as I had perceived.

They hold a comfort,
Yes, a comfort within their walls,
These few boundaries keep me safe
While I begin to blossom into my truest form.

Just a Sonnet
by Kimberley Holmes

My imagination takes me places I don’t mean to go
So I put pen to paper to explain the unknown
There are parts of my soul I wish everyone could know
But music is my only companion when I’m all alone
I feel most opinions lack in true perception
I feel a desperate need to fade away
With reasoning I can sway such conviction
And in time learn to fight for the day
Though my fingers are clinging to the brink
As exhaustion puts me to the test
I fear this could all be a waste of ink
I think my mind just needs a rest
But I have far too much left to say
And only one lifetime to scribble away

False Benefits of Exhaustion
by K E Jones

Late at night
On my third wind
I am exactly calm enough
To believe my own thoughts
So to write
A poem,
And exactly nervous enough
To end the poem
Before I ruin it.
