I don't know. There will always be people we don't agree with in life but to me the beauty of this site vs real life is that here we can log off lol. We're not forced to interact with, or engage, out of courtesy like those of us with manners do irl. It's unfortunate that it gets to the level it does here. We fight and bicker but taking it personally enough to go after someone irl is another level. So sad.

Going after someone's personal info that someone has not offered is way beyond not agreeing with them about some topic(s) or arguing. That's really twisted. There's no excuse for that.
Of course, I'm assuming that the personal info was not offered. It's a little different if someone offers their FB or whatever other connection that would give them the information. Still, NOT ok to call or contact directly to home or work without expressed permission.

So let me break it down for YOU.... Do you ever see some members with the words Banned under their name? Those are banned members. Imagine that?
I highly doubt their offenses were as egregious as stalking another member beyond the forum to harrass them and try to get them fired.

On a similar vein, l don't know if it can be conveyed the sense of a lack of personal safety that women often experience. 99% of physical harm unto women is brought upon us by men. So women who UNDERSTAND that, respect that.
Then factor in the most basic desire of a mother, which is to provide for and protect her child/children. Provide via income, protect from harm from crazies. Only mothers UNDERSTAND and RESPECT that. So whatever it takes<-- to put a stop to <--- anyone trying to eliminate any of those desires, should be encouraged and never dismissed, no matter how small it might appear.

It most certainly should not be tolerated!! Getting him banned here means and stops nothing. If anything it'd likely fuel him further. To me, I'd be more like "fuck that site, I'm getting justice irl". Stalking and harassing are HUGE issues and should be reported to the authorities, his reprocussions here are very menial in the grand scheme of things.
This is why i was disturbed about that other person earlier wanting me to contact him offline.
I know that we all can forget there are human beings, people , a person on the other side of the keyboard in who u cant see.
I know i have cause i end up saying mean spirited things. Thats why i made the apology thread. I would hope people would be remorseful and people forgive and then stop it.
It really goes over the line when u try to ruin someones life .
I wish i never came here cause it made me a worse person.

My friend, you just have to be able to take this site for what it is. Don't put a lot of stock in anything here because at the end of the day you don't know 95% these people. If this site ended tomorrow, it'd have zero impact on our lives so why give it more power than it really warrants? I enjoy it for what it is...shits n giggles
