good decision..you are disappointed now and I can understand that. You are very secure at the moment that it is exactly, how you feel. But maybe it is different...
friendships are always to give and receive, but from time to time, I cannot care about my friends either. But I would never want to hurt or loose them

Great Britain legalized gay marriage at last. And come to the think of it, I'm starting to see that Britain is far more progressive than the country which created The Bill of Rights. Not only that, smart politics which separates itself from religion.

I'd say kudos to David Cameron and the Parliament for passing this legislation.

And he leads the Tories. Could you imagine the Republicans doing the same?

I'm in a similar situation right now.
I used to be the one initiating stuff and trying to make things work.
Always being there and going the extra mile whenever in need.
It's not that I was doing it to get something in return, but if it's always just giving and never receiving, it can get very frustrating.
So recently I decided that I will spend my time and energy on someone who deserves it more: ME :smt003

I have the same problem with 2 of my friends. And they're both my single friends. One prefers to just text daily. We never do anything together anymore. Haven't for years. Ugh. But we've known each other for more than 10 years.

It's a bit more difficult here for a lot of reasons. The Parliamentary system works a little more effectively than the Checks and Balances system we have here, plus it's not muddled with lobbyists that will go about influencing the votes of the Congress. So, while it's possible that in the presidential elections way down the line, we'll see a conservative that would argue in favor of marriage equality, the party will continue to hold a "traditional marriage" standpoint.

This is all the more true because the southern states are heavily religious and less than inclined to even consider making some headway on making it feasible for everyone to truly acquire the pursuit of happiness.

I don't see any of your emails for some reason. Try sending another one. If not, you can contact me on Gmail. It's the same name, except the address ends with @gmail.com

Elderly grocery store owner refuses robber

MARSHFIELD, Wis. (AP) — A masked robber apparently thought the 96-year-old owner of a neighborhood grocery store in Marshfield would be an easy target for his crime. But, he was so wrong.

Margaretta Wolf has owned the store bearing her family name for 54 years. And she wasn't about to turn over her cash to the armed intruder after he ordered her to open the cash register.

"I said: 'I'm not opening up that cash register and that's it, I'm not opening it. I said you can have all the Tootsie Rolls you want but I am not opening that cash register,'" said Wolf.

    More... http://news.yahoo.com/elderly-grocery-store-owner-refuses-robber-150913503.html

    :) Go grandma!
(I wanna be 96 and still running my own business! )

    Hello black youth of America,

I am with you in your plight for a fairer and freer society. A society that can look at a person and see them as such.

A society that isn't hung up on how much you make or what color or skin is or who your god is or isn't or who you fuck in your own bedroom with blinds drawn and doors closed.
The loss of Trayvon Martin to the cowardly piece of shit is a whole loss for America as a whole. It speaks volumes about who we are in the year 2013 in relationship to where we should be in comparison to our history. It speaks volumes about how we as a society refuse to take responsibility for the pain and suffering of other human beings and how we are a me, my, and mine society.

I'm sickened and saddened by the verdict in this case and understand your frustration and your anger. I will never live it as you do but I understand your motivation
The thing is, though, when you resort to needless violence after a senseless case of violence..it doesn't not help your case.
All the people who view you the way GZ viewed Trayvon Martin see you the same way and are justified in their actions.

There no justification in their actions. There is also very little in yours.

Be the change you want to see

    Sincerely,

An American woman who is on you side

You have the looks, you have the brains.....Maybe one of these days you will be resourceful enough to open up your own privately financed business in the downtown metro..........At which time, I will be looking for a follow-up interview.........

Watching Luther on Netflix and I'm convinced that everything just sounds more awesome in a British accent.

I'm on season two now, and almost done. This season is only four episodes! Which is a shame because it's better than any American police show currently on the air.

The Wire was the last show that gripped me as much.

Ah, The Wire...after watching Luther I think I may want to marathon that show again. Idris Elba is severely underrated as an actor. Plus it's surreal hearing Stringer Bell speak fluent British.
