None of them are LIES, that's where you are delusional. You just assume they are for some stupid reason I cannot fathom. There is no reason to "call" me on any of them. I have not told anything outside of straight fact since I joined this forum. Your tone is starting to have a tinge of the "whine" to it.

Ok, then I'm convinced that you are a 15 year old... that's around the age I remember people feeling the need to chronicle every penis that passes their lip.

Smell my finger?

OMG very strange thing happened to me today...

So I'm riding the bus home from work (temporarily while my car is in the shop)... I step off the bus on the last leg, in my long floor length grey skirt and red top, long hair flowing, and am walking down the corner to cross... when this young guy in his early twenties says "you have such beautiful hair - I love the curls" (he had beautiful curly hair himself, and a gorgeous face)... he proceeded to cross the street with me and said "I hope you don't think I'm forward but you are a lovely woman....you have a beautiful shape - I thought you might be a dancer, maybe a belly dancer. I am a dancer myself." I thought he was off his rocker. He asked me to forgive him for being so forward because he was sure I got hit on all of the time, and I said "yeah, by bums, not by young men".

He asked how old I was and guessed maybe in my late twenties, and I said, no I am far older than that, and he said that turned him on far more. I was like (this guy is a FREAK! but he sure is cute - he turned out to be a breakdancer from Brazil)...so he walked me all of the way home, and I did let him come up for a bit. We sat and talked a bit, and he wound up giving me a shoulder massage, and tried to get a little more familiar with me, even stroked my legs and told me how much he loved how thick they were, and stroked my ass outside of my skirt and remarked on how firm and large and muscular it is... I wouldn't let him get any farther than that... he took my number and I saw him to the door...

I don't know what it is about me at this age, but how can I wear a floor-length skirt and be minding my own business, and have 23-year old men following me around? This is the second time this year this has happened! I also have an almost boyfriend now from wearing the same skirt, only this was at a reggae fest... I am getting an all expenses paid trip to Florida from the first 23-year old, no sex included or allowed, just because... don't know how this happens in my life... I never used to get this kind of treatment...

It's not made up, douche. It happened to me, yesterday. On the TARC. I made it home at about 9:20 something (with his company) but first I needed to walk to the store to get some stuff so he decided to walk with me because I have a stalker that likes to sit on the steps of the church to watch me get off the bus (or he waits for my Caribbean boyfriend to drive up with me in the truck and watches us walk in to my apt - I can see him standing up and watching us from about 100 yards away). So the Brazilian walked to the store with me and I got some vodka and cigarettes and some olive oil conditioner for my hair. And walked me home. No sign of the stalker yesterday.

But the stalker found me today and wouldn't leave me alone. I told him he wasn't my type. I told him the Caribbean man was much better for me and that if he so much as breathed in his direction I would put a restraining order on him and make sure that he never got out of his parole situation. He keeps calling me when I say I am tired and can't talk. I was walking way from him today and he said "I love you". WTF????? It's really scary.

So which is it? Do you own a car or do you have a stalker? The parts in bold contradict each other.

grats

although the places ive trained in philly usually have you grapple with the gi first, before going no-gi. they prefer that you get used to the fundamentals and consider no-gi/submission wrestling to be more advanced. it all depends on where you train. when i first enrolled at a MMA academy, you weren't allowed to take MMA until you gained sufficient rank in BJJ. I understand why'd they do that, as being able to survive on the ground is very important, but at the same time it throws people off that just want to dip right into mixed art training.

like i said tho, i love women in mma :smt039

Thankee. Where I go, grappling is always w/o gi. San Soo is before and everybody takes their gi's off.
This place is small so I think that is why they may do it like this. Biggest class I seen in San Soo is 8, even less for grappling and pankration.

They may just do it like this as its very small and the instructor have better overview of the people that take it.
New students almost exclusively come from the group that takes the boot camps and kettebell classes so they are already familiar faces to the instructors.
They have a few fighters that train here but they are usually there during the day.

Thank you Petty:-) I have found a new-found appreciation for bruises.

i actually prefer smaller classes, because you get more attention from whomever is training you all (plus more room to roll without bumping into someone). I used to go at 12:30pm and at that time, most people were at work or school. Now that i'm on day shift, i'll be going at night. I'm going back to training tomorrow at another school, now that I have a solution for my toes (they allow wrestling shoes, but i'll probably just tape since I found a good 3M type that adheres pretty well) and will get to see just how many sweaty bodies they can fill there. Although to be quite honest, this place I switched over too was pretty busy even during their noon class.

Their stable of jiu-jitsu guys was pretty deep, with more blacks and browns than i've ever seen at the same time, in my original gym. What this means is that there's a lot of talent to draw from for lesser ranks. You don't have to worry about being instructed by a blue belt for example, while the head honcho trains his veterans.

only drawback is these guys train like they're still in brazil, so the only solution they have for hot weather is fans. from what i could gather, they're pretty rustic and don't have the same frills as where I initially trained. they also don't have any water coolers, fancy locker rooms or ample shower space.:smt017 probably just end up wiping down with anti-bacterial body wipes until I get home

Toes does take a beating. Taping sounds good.
We have 2 black belts, qute a few green belts, some that will get their brown very soon and a few yellow belts that will get their greens very soon. Only two withe belts - so its all good for me, especially since I am a noob:-)

We have the same problem, several fans to keep it cool, but its like bikram yoga in there. Place is small so there are no showers at all. Good thing I live 10 min away. No water cooler? Thats a bit odd, no?

yeah after rolling hard for 5 minutes, most people would run to the fountain at my old place. if the coach was feeling real naughty, he wouldn't give us a water break and have us switch partner and roll again for another 5.

this other place...id end up taking a water bottle or something. they actually charge more than the original place, so you'd think they'd be a bit more refined:smt088

was planing to go out today but i dont see this happening been sick from yesterday and worse today and i thought will be good this winter:???:

They do not contradict each other at all, Bookworm. I own a car and I have a stalker. As if the two should be mutually exclusive - that is a pretty ridiculous notion. If you had a little imagination, you could see how my car was waiting to be fixed at one dealership for one week, then all they did was find the right battery and install it. They would not mess with it anymore because they knew it would take me forever to pay for what else was wrong with it, and they were majorly behind on their other work, and anyway my mother's cousin's husband had a friend with a car shop out in Indiana, so I drove my car out there with its newly restored battery to have the other work done. It's been there since last Sunday, so that's at least two and a half weeks that I have been without a vehicle. Plenty of time to have had to learn how to ride the bus and developed a stalker as a result of having to walk places I would not normally walk to and on a regular schedule, whether I like it or not. Quit trying to pick holes in my story. It's real life - get over it.

hmm must be some weird place you live... i dont see not even one person looking at me while walking .. not that i care who looks or not, am busy most of the time doing what i have to do when out..

:)

Nyx, my neighbourhood is different. Just on my way home from work today, I had to go to the store and it was getting dark. A black man hollered at me from his SUV, did a U-turn, and asked me if I wanted a ride. I said, "No I DO NOT." Two old white men, drunken construction workers with a 12-pack of beer on their shoulders, commented on what a "beautiful girl" I was for no reason (which was kind of sweet I guess).
Coming back from the store it was full on dark and a little Hispanic man was about to cross the street saying "hey gurlll whatchooo doin" and I said "don't fucking cross the street, I'm walking alone!!" and he stepped back, thought better of it. This was all in the space of half an hour. I was only wearing a crew-neck black t-shirt and a floor-length black skirt, form-fitting but modest.
I am ALWAYS minding my own business.

Hope you feel better soon, by the way, Nyx. :smt056

yo cuz, i just got my comcast tv turned off

70bucks a month for what? lame ass movies on encore? stop trippin

7.99 for netflix is truth
Netflix and Hulu together, now you know you in trouble. Cable companies are off their damn rocker if they think I'm paying that much to watch a couple shows Hulu has. G4TV sucks ass now, so I don't need cable at all.
