like i said, if people were required to have their forum names attached to neg reps, I think it would make things a little more interesting. I just don't understand the current system now, and the power (however little it may be) that a user has, when giving negative reps. you can take potshots all year round, without a way to go to the root and defend yourself.

Not true Petty. I've actually left a fair number of negative reps lately and I sign every single one. Anten, Trey and dsereveRgnitirW can attest to that. I have never received signed neg rep, but I sure sign mine because if I feel the need to make a comment, I'm darn sure gonna put my name on it. I detest cowards.
Yes, I can attest to this, Espy has neg repped me on multiple ocassions and singed her name as "No Nonsense Espy"
I've also gotten a neg rep for something just as stupid. A difference of opinion isn't a good reason to neg somebody, but I guess they do it because they can. It makes no friggin' sense. Of course it wasn't signed. I know you're not complaining, because you know you like it. After all, you started it. As far as the controller & the testicle scenario goes, I don't think most women would go there. We don't like to think of men getting it on the way men like to think of women doing it.
What is the rep system anyway - besides a form of control? You all are so scared of being neg rep'd, that you're ruled by fear through people you don't know. I make more in 4 months than most of you make in a year. So I'll say it again, Espy: Your opinion ain't worth a muthafuckin dime to me.
