I think it's common knowledge they bullheadedly united against the ACA. Which was a farce anyway as they had NOTHING prepared when Trump said "let's roll". Cheap empty suits, those Repubs.

Tomi Lahren has been suspended by her employer The Blaze. Cenk Uygur, the host of The Young Turks, tell you why.

“Conservative media company The Blaze has suspended political commentator Tomi Lahren, multiple sources with knowledge of the situation confirmed to The Daily Caller.

Lahren’s show is suspended for effect for at least one week starting Monday, according to TheDC’s sources. A source with direct knowledge of the situation previously told TheDC that Lahren’s contract with the company goes until September, but that she may leave the company before then. (RELATED: Tomi Lahren Likely On Her Way Out At The Blaze)

Lahren’s inflammatory style placed her at odds with other employees at The Blaze, as previously reported by TheDC. Tensions were high between Lahren and her coworkers at The Blaze even before she called pro-life conservatives hypocrites in an appearance on ABC’s “The View” on Friday.

In her appearance on The View, Lahren said she is pro-choice and called pro-life conservatives hypocrites, saying, “I can’t sit here and be a hypocrite and say I’m for limited government but I think the government should decide what women do with their bodies.”

And why do you think con-servative news outlets are heavily covering it? Is it because it fits their narrative or because rape by illegal immigrants are actually a problem? I'm thinking the other news outlets weren't covering it because the rapists were caught and in custody. Had they been still on the loose, they would have ran with it. Unfortunately, rape happens all too often. It's funny, I originally read about it on HuffPo when it first happened.

I'd like to see some real stats on that to see if this incident justifies all the hype.

Plus the only time any news outlets really cover sexual assault is if the suspect is someone famous, like an actor or athlete. Rapes, like murders, robberies, and dozens of other kinds of crimes happen every day. Unless something about the crime is out of the ordinary it won't even get a mention.

It's the same narrative you see on stories about police officers shooting black people; people point to stories about civilians killing police officers but leave out the fact that a lot of police officers get away with brutality while civilians don't.

It depends on how you define often. One in ten? One in thirty? One in a hundred? Media outlets only have so many resources. They can't cover every single crime that happens so they have to pick and choose what they want to focus on and nine times out of ten it's going to involve something out of the ordinary.

Most crimes don't even make it past the local newspapers.
