Dude I root for the Giants when they play so I'd be fine with them going to the SB! Heck I've had Victor Cruz in my fantasy line up for the past 2-3 years and plan to draft him again this year! Plus y'all have Trindon Holliday and Odell Beckham now (LSU baby!!!) so I'll be cheering your boys on, no doubt :freehug:
exactly! sure we are human and we all get down but dont waste engery on the pity party when you could use it to advance yourself. luda said it best "It's not the hand that you're dealt but how you're playing your cards" ill say it , my shit does stink, im not on welfare, have two kids that i am in love with and support. can i offer sound advice? yep! the funny part, its less about living in California and more about how people feel about themselves. a person with low self-esteem wouldn't think they can get the 6 figure job so they wouldn't even apply, the part the gets me is how people can let their situation affect them in turn producing low self-esteem. sure when i got out of prison i didn't have nothing to my name and after having the head California's Realtor board tell me id never get a Realtor license based on my felonies I didn't sulk in my own pitty I found something else to do. when my daughters mom kidnapped them to the other side of the country i did sulk in pitty for a few weeks, i am human but i used all that frustration to land my first 6 figure job. i didn't get to where I am at now in life because of California, I got to where I am because i had drive and determination. don't get it twisted, i prolly pay in child support what most of you pay in rent, i drive an 11 year old Acura
PREACH...nothing to do with geography...everything to do with desire, drive, ambition and belief in yourself...everyone should have a succession plan for their life...where am i now and where am i going next...6 figures doesn't buy happiness but knowing you got there by hard work and determination is a sweet feeling
hahahahha! agreed! the only problem with 6 figures, you realize its not enough.... an old boss of mine, her boss made $750k a year and he still wasn't happy where is was at. why cry over spilled milk?
Six figures would be more than enough. I wouldn't be able to spend $100K anyway, unless I just became Mister Consumer.
You'd probably be surprised. It doesn't go as far as one would think, unless you're making that kind of money out in the country somewhere. If you're in a large city you can go through that kind of salary just by living...especially if you have kids. Living decently of course, but far from "well-off".
Lol I meant that with all due respect! Trust me, I day dream about the things I'd do with my salary out there! The type of home I could own, the savings I could build...the shoes and clothes I could buy :smt061 There are perks to southern living, no doubt :freehug:
I know babes. That's why I can't move. Life is great for me down here. If I made that 6 fig it would be unreal!
