Something is off with her story especially if he wasn't even on set as he claimed and have alibis from other people. Frida was bisexual too, so. I don't know, it sounds like she is reaching.

Salma Hayek also revealed that she cried before her nude scene with Antonio Banderas in the 1992 film Desperado. For some reason she has a real hang up being seen nude on film by her parents.

I believe Harvey Weinstein sexually pursued and harassed her, but I don't blame him for her 'nervous breakdown' before her sex scene with Ashley Judd in the movie Frida.

I have heard about Salma and her issue with the nude scene in Desperado. Robert Rodriguez had a stand-in for her.

In Frida, Salma only had a kiss with Ashley Judd.

How do powerful people make their presence felt even when they are not around on location or the set? They have underlings spy for them to give the boss information. Perhaps, the fact that Frida was bisexual also appealed to Weinstein and he wanted to see the details of the production.

Yeah, but here is the thing I think she said he was there on set and he said he wasn't. Also she WANTED to play Frida, a known bisexual woman. Did she have a problem with that side of Frida? Are we going to start censoring or banning all nude and sex scenes from art because of these immature perverted adults who abuse the nature of nudity, sex and sexuality in the arts. It right now is getting to a point where women want to start taking away their own freedoms. They are leading themselves into a real life Handmaid's Tale.

Remember when I posted on here that Jessica Chastain blasted Zack Snyder's costume choices for the amazonian women in Justice League because they were showing their midriff, cleavage and thighs? And tried to compare it Patty Jenkins' Wonderwoman where fans highlighted she pretty much did the same thing showing their midriff, cleavage and thighs. And when someone pointed out the costumes the men wore in the movie 300, she said she didn't like those either. Some women were even targeting the Victoria Secret's fashion show.

You don't let perverts and predators put shame on sex and sexuality.
You don't let racist and color struck people put shame on race and skin color.

Fight these problems like rational adults or they will lose. In a Race war and/or Gender war the only losers are the innocent and the future of humanity.

That was true about Salma Hayek wanting to play Frida. She felt a strong connection with Frida. As to nude scenes, she didn't do any of them. She was in the film Ask The Dust with Colin Farrell and the two did a skinny dipping scene on the beach. It has been a long time since I saw that film. I don't remember if she was nude in that scene.

I don't remember the post about Jessica Chastain and Zach Snyder.

I do know that a lot of actresses have opinions about nudity. Some will do it for the sake of the character and film. Others will find a way around it, others will not do it at all. It's their choice.

I won't call this a gender war, but I do believe that both men and women need to have an honest discussion about the issue of sexual harassment.

I was in actuality talking about how they would want that to remain suppressed in this society with the irrationalizing that exist in their fight. Human beings once they start tasting power start to lose the sense of empathy and freedom. Women aren't immune to that. Not everything about nudity, sex and sexuality is of the minds of perverts and sexual predators and harassers. If that is the case then The Men's Lockerroom needs to be shut down. Or why haven't a woman on here yet complained about what we post in there to get it shut down.

They are using censorship to combat real problems in hollywood.. again wanting freedom or choice to remain suppressed in this society. A nervous finger on the trigger to sexism. Which takes me to Jessica Chastain's tweet.

I know they aren't in a gender war... just yet. If Tavis Smiley or anyone else uncover proof that people lied on them IMO I believe are one of the ways it will get there. Remember no famous person accused of it have been cleared because the person lied. We are in the phase were all of the accusations are seen as true, believing nobody's going to lie about that.

I don't know if there was a deleted nude scene in Frida, but the clip from Celeb Jihad clearly shows a nude Hayek in bed with a lithe, super fit Black woman.

The lesbian scene was allegedly between Frida and Josephine Baker when Frida and her husband were in Paris.

And in the film The Wild, Wild West, someone else's butt was shown and not Salma's.

Ah, censorship. It does throw a monkey wrench into it all. It is becoming a case of he said/she said. Someone is either telling the truth or someone is lying.

It reminded me of Clarence Thomas and Anita Hill. Back then, things were a bit tense between men and women. I wasn't sure if it all was true but I wanted Thomas to a Supreme Court judge. I felt back then that he was qualified to serve. At the conclusion of the hearings, Senator Edward Kennedy asked a rather interesting question; "Why did she wait ten years to report this?"

Anita Hill is still standing by her account.

The case made me wonder what a woman thought if I approached her for a conversation. Would she think that I intend to do her harm? I don't think so. But unless we were properly introduced, we were still strangers and we had to recognize the invisible boundaries in our everyday dealings. The whole thing made me feel guarded at times because I didn't want to be a victim, either.

In this respect, accusations such as these should not be dismissed and ignored. These accusations/allegations must be investigated with fairness and impartiality.

You make some thoughful points.

I wonder how it all came to be such unequal treatment of the sexes. We see in multiple movies and discussions how and why 'races' are treated unequally, but not really the sexes.
l wonder why is it that women were always and still are guided towards (or goaded), to expose and parade their bodies for no reason.

There is no Mr.America or Mr. Universe, unless it's to admire his strength and muscles. Only then is he required to strip down to boxers and pose.

What purpose does V.S and Miss Universe serve? Women in lingerie and bikinis and tight dresses result in objectification and not much more.

If men were expected and encouraged to disrobe and show of his form all the time, wouldn't women eventually come to view him as a piece of meat? A dumb man, eye candy? Someone to grope?

And if some men began to protest the labels, the expectations and objectification, imagine if they were called manist-nazies and homos.

Absolutely. And that is the direction this needs to go, because the public is now getting restless about this, both men and women. Did you see the woman who had an affair with Matt Lauer said it was consensual but his power made her feel like a victim?

The only real victim was Matt's wife. This is getting REALLY absurd and they keep giving these people, the wrong women a voice. That's a consensual relationship. And real victims of assault deserve better than to have their message watered down by being lumped in with women who feels jilted after the fact.

Well other victims have the misfortune of not being white or being victimized by someone important enough. Everyone fails to understand most who do this are depraved they are sociopaths who could care less about convention or laws. All this will do is make decent men want to stay clear because they don't want misunderstandings. Who does this leave all these women with?
