I LOVE my hometown of Cairns, Australia. Right by the Daintree Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef. Hot and humid all year round and a couple of months of heavy rains and cyclone possibilities in the summer. Oh how I miss it. Here are some pictures from my flickr account, I have taken these over probably the past five years:
This is the beach right beside the road to Port Douglas, just up from the nudist beach where I accidentally found myself earlier that day
That same beach, a bit further up, and facing the other way

Right after our last big cyclone, cyclone Larry in 2005 (I think) at a golf course I used to work at
And this one is at Cairns Cemetery. I like taking photos at cemeteries for some reason, they are so photogenic.
