Yeah, most of my relationships have been with immigrants, first generation or women I meet in my artistic or political activities (environment, pro-choice, progressive issues, lectures, etc). The only Italian women I have dated have been... Italian...of the passport-carrying variety.

to me its a class thing, the lower classes of white women here in the US tend to have this racist element to their dating posture. esp the ethnic ones--italians, irish, etc. they tend to still hold to the racist stereotype while willing to date or hook up

To paraphrase(he can correct me if I'm wrong) poor whites are more protective of their white status so they go above and beyond to prove how white they are by staying from and excluding non whites as often as possible.
