You know what I have learned? That we are not that damn different, and that our difference are more cultural than racial.

My kids Japanese Grand father.....used to get in his son's ass. My sister-in law (white). The kids did not eat at the same table with the adults. My best friend (Indian) no one ate until his father was at the table.

...and really what it did was solidify the pride I have in my own race. Limited thinker's truly believe that dating one not of the same group means a dilution of their own culture. Not really...and only if you let it.

the stereotypical White chick who picked up the slang, and the lingo, dress and style and does so to fit in.

the Carlton ass punks who feel that have to speak in a higher octave and wear polos and argyle socks in order to be one of the gang..

...it showed me the pride in being me, loving me, loving who I am and where I come from, and made me respect the culture of another even more.

LOL. well put. the thing is that you can appreciate the other persons culture without sacrificing yours.

example I started listening to country and really enjoyed it but I still love my old school r and b

Not in the least, and that is what a lot of these cats don't get. THEY ARE STILL BLACK. If that is who you are, then its who you are...but if you are that way so that you can be less "threatening" so that you "Fit in" so you can be "You are different from those other black guys"

Over the years people have accused me of being obsessed with white woman. I have called a house nigger, a coon, white woman worshipper, sellout, etc. However, I don't give a mutherfuck. I looooooovvvvvveeee me some white women. To me white women are just so fun to be around. I love to look at them, talk to them, befriend them, make love them, taste them, etc. I even watch shows like One Tree Hill and Gossip Girl because of the fine ass white woman on the show. It's like when I look at them I just can't stop smiling. When it comes to dating I think black men and white women go together like Oreo cookies and milk.

Fully agree goodlove on that point you mention. For me quality is quality when it comes to those kind of things. If a song has good melody, touches me and appeals to my ears I will listen to it, no matter the music. Same goes for a lot of other things in life. Self limitation is something I can never do.

We live in a varied world man, we need to enjoy many things during our finite time on it, the best way to do that is to experience it.
 
let me make something clear

I don't give a fuck what people on this forum think of me. I know what i want and I don't have any problem with letting the world know it. White girls are number one to me. I have always loved them and I will continue to do so until the day I die.
