the beauty of dating outside your race

I learned that people look at you funny when you out in public. Makes me feel uneasy at times.

its natural to feel like that because people do love to have a look, some people love to stare me and my bf out at times its hillarious, some glace now and again and keep fidgeting while they do it lol :smt017

Just speaks for the intensity of a black man - white woman relationship, that it garners so much attention and reaction from some folks.

Its testament to the beauty of the relationship of two people that are passionate about each other and don't let any obstacles or social norms hold them back from expressing their desires. Its like I want her, she wants me and that's all that matters. :)

Basic human frailties Persephone

Power
Greed
Religion - mine's is right yours is wrong mindsets
Territoriality - An Us vs Them mentality

When I look back at the Transatlantic slave trade, all those things above played a role in those events transpiring, from the shore of Europe to the African soil to the Americas. Conscious decisions were made along the way by powerful, greedy and religious people to enact that brutal system of forced human bondage.

:smt023 These are the essential frailties that helped to form the nexus of the racial and cultural tension in America. Your point is well made, GQ Brotha!

Get used to the funny looks & stares, because that's just a fact of IR life. You shouldn't let it phase you, though...I say let it be their problem & not yours.

WW are the BM's gift from God to save the intelligent BM population from the living purgatory of matriarchal BW tyranny. We are cast aside like old shoes. Worse than old shoes, because women save every pair of shoes they've ever owned. We are the lost boys, like Moses cast upon the river in Hebrew swaddling clothes, not the L.A. vampires. Or was it Near Dark. Moses too was found by a caring white woman, Anne Baxter. Or was she his lover.

No matter.

When our ancestors toiled in the fields, the Southern sun beating upon their brows, their slavemasters whipping them, they spoke of a deliverer. They spoke in Ebonics to keep Massa from understanding them. Flavor Flav still speaks Ebonics, but this time, Massa understands him all too well.

But I digress.

She is here now, the deliverer, the white woman. Down from the heavens, caring and wise, yet irresistably sexy, with a glowing rope to make you tell the truth. Like Tina of Fey, who keeps the black man Tracy Morgan employed where the white man would sooner see him jailed. The white woman with a tiny waist and a big booty is like the Griffin or Pegasus of legend; two mythical creatures in one. And she loves anal sex, which makes her ever more appealing. In the tightness of that ass, I have found peace. My love for WW, even the fat hillbilly WW, makes Eldridge Cleaver look like Toussaint L'Ouverture. Hallowed be her name, go tell it on the mountain. O'er the hills and everywhere. Her will be done on Earth as it is in heaven.

:smt077 I liked the opening sentence about matriarchal tyranny, but the rest is over the top.

Here is a distortion I must clarify. The Egyptians were not white. They were black. The only white Egyptians are the ones in the movies. Fair skinned people would have had a hard time with that hot sun.

Anyway, it was funny, and now let's return to our regularly scheduled program. :D

The Egyptians weren't black. Are there black Egyptians today? I mean black Egyptians that can trace their line back, not immigrants. Dark, African, Sub-Saharan-looking Egyptians. Let's not get into the whole Stolen Legacy, third-eye Hotep shit please. LOL.

And of course it was over the top

<sarcasm impaired/>

Yea I know what you mean. I never want to give them the satisfaction of being intimidated or scared of what they think. If anything they should take a look on themselves for being so judgmental.

Exactly. The shame of it is though, they seldom figure that out.

If you wish to hold on to an erroneous idea, it is your right to do so.

Nubian Egyptians

The ancient Egyptians conquered the Nubian territory several times.
Nubia also conquered Ancient Egypt during the 25th dynasty. They had a very complex relationship with both friendly exchanges and some not so friendly.

Nubians and Ancient Egyptians are not the one and the same.
The ancient Egyptians describe the Nubians as darker than them.

Was it really necessary to embarrass me out in the open like that, FG? I'm quitting this forum. LOL

Don't know much 'bout history, don't know much 'bout geology, don't know much about....
But I do know that I love that picture and that's why I posted it.

I was kidding, FG. I would rather be corrected than to misinform people. I see it as a learning opportunity for myself. I normally don't participate on topics that don't interest me or I know very little about, this being one of them. All I read was black Egyptian and my two profs in uni happen to be black Egyptians. That somehow gave me the need to post that pic. But this is not an uncommon behavior of mine.
Thanx though.
