The Nerdz Lounge.

Kind of a slower paced episode. The B-story of the The Blue Beetle looking for his friend humanizes the show, in a good way. The main story of the Girl Squad was kinda dull, in my opinion.

Did you catch the little Super Friends/Justice League character references going on with Blue Beetle's friend Ty? Don't be surprise if being kidnapped by "the Light" for whatever reason, he ends up becoming that character.

Oh your right! Apache Chief, I actually missed that reference. They did something similar on the other Justice League show.

Yep. The kid's last name being "Long Shadow" is in reference to that since in the Justice League series episode the "Apache Chief" character was called Long Shadow.

Pretty Interesting Perspective.

Excerpt from the OP:

Lots of people are forgetting, that Bruce Lee was the greatest martial artist who did not enter tournaments(except boxing championship in 1958 when he was in high school and other Full Contact Matches such as 1962 Seattle, etc), like UFC because he did not believe in the rules or styles, it also limits one's fighting ability....

please visit my site....

http://bruceleedeathandtruth.weebly.com/
And plus, Bruce Lee's physical feats were beyond limits.... most still cannot achieved what he did....

Here is why Bruce Lee would be unbeatable, and this is video makes lots of sense, and reminded me why I think Bruce Lee was the greatest street fighter ever!

and there is a difference as Street Fighter and MMA fighter

also please recognize that Bruce Lee was interested in "real fighting" not like sport combat, however, he would of probably loved MMA, but he was interest in real fights that's why he created a system JEET KUNE DO, the way of intercepting fist, a formless art, that is created for real fight situations, JKD is actually not an art but a philosophy.... a hybrid martial art....

this guy who is talking, reminded me why bruce lee is my hero..... he was an actual fighter like in streets, multiple combats, etc....
im not saying MMA fighters are not actual fighters, but just saying that there are limits because it's a sport

So was he real fighter? Yes.
Lots of people forgot he actually fought in real life and challenged many, in fact, he became a legend because one of his fight in the beginning led him to realize that strength, speed, power are all important aspects.
The fact is he created the system, Jeet Kune Do, is actually for real fighting.
Lots of people are forgetting as well, that MMA is a sport. Most of the guys never fought in actual combat, the rules and styles stricts one's ability to full potential. Bruce Lee didn't believe in styles or rules in any competitions of combat like UFC.
I'm not saying MMA fighters can't fight in real fights, but people are forgetting that it is a sport, and it does have limits, but it demostrates actual fights.

Trophies does not make you a great fighter and fame only makes gives you pride not the whole.
Bruce Lee physical feats also are beyond any fighters can do imaginable.

"There are no limits......" - Bruce Lee

Remember, actual combat and a MMA are different things...

watch this video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSWBa_...

"For his size and weight, Bruce was one of the strongest people-pound for pound-I have ever met. I think he could have beaten a lot of people much heavier and much stronger than he was. He would have done extremely well in competition (...) He was that skillful."

- Mike Stone

"He (Lee) was very good friends with Wally Jay, Gene LeBell and Hayward Nishioka. It's a fact that Bruce learned a lot of grappling from these men."

- Larry Hartsell

and most mma guys or fans should know, in real combat or in real fights are much more dangerous than in cage or on the ring,
for example, poking someone eyes, elbowing somebody's eyes and kicking them down there or even biting them...
there are no rules in real fights, mma is a sport, some might say that biting or poking might be dirty, but what is dirty fighting?
if fight rules in mma changed that punch is illegal move, than that makes it dirty.
i think plus, bruce lee was extremely fast learner and a genius, if he came back from the dead at age 32, he would kept getting better and better and learning and adopting different styles

Many of Bruce Lee's statements are derived from his own studies of various schools of philosophy and the martial arts, and are sometimes paraphrases of previous expressions by others which he wrote down for his own instruction into his own words.

He was no doubt a great martial artist and philosopher and much more.....

"To generate great power you must first totally relax and gather your strength, and then concentrate your mind and all your strength on hitting your target."

"A man can be strong, but if he cannot use that strength quickly he is not powerful." - Bruce Lee

Very interesting, I was really enjoying seeing the whole Flash "family". But I never knew that Kid Flash was that much slower than the regular Flash. I know Cheshire is supposed to have questionable ethics, but bringing her baby along for a dangerous mission is a bit much.

Okay, why haven't we had a Flash movie yet? Doing it with themes in this episode with speedster family and such would rock. Get it on it Warner Bros./DC Comics!

Okay so I bought the game "Arkham City" for PS3, and I've been having trouble doing one of the levels. With the help of the walkthroughs however, it made more sense, and I could process throughout the game more easily...such at this section:

I had trouble in this section, but after I watched this, I did what this person did and I moved on to the next levels easily. ^_^

They played with that idea for a bit back before Wally became the Flash after Barry's "death". If I recall they chalked it up to being a mental block of some sort due to his being initially dissatisfied with life as a superhero which led to his retiring his Kid Flash ID and after becoming the Flash his not feeling worthy of carrying on the legacy created by Barry Allen. It was due to encountering and battling against the Reverse Flash for the first time that he was able to brake the mental block and was then able to fully access the Speed Force afterwards.

I just finished watching all the episodes of The Legend of Korra that I forgot I had recorded on my DVR, and I gotta say, that is a really fun, interesting and surprisingly intriguing show.

Co-sign. Helps that the protagonist and her friends are older than the kids from the original also. They went slightly edgier with the theme but still keep it kid friendly.

Majora's Mask: Anju and Kafei's Quest

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is without a doubt, the darkest Zelda game ever released. The idea of 72 hours until the world ends was a scary thought. While it didn't receive the same kind of fanfare as its predecessor, it has achieved a remarkable feat: creating an emotional sidequest. The sidequests are generally a bore, but there was one in this game that truly stood out...

Anju and Kafei's Quest

The tale of two lovers, complex and simple all at once, showed how much time and effort the developers did to create an emotional and captivating event. The video shown below explains how to create it. As usual, completing will give you an item (The Couples' Mask) and continue onward. Anyway, enjoy the video...

Djimon Hounsou was born for the role. I mean, don't you think an actual African would bring more authenticity to the character?

Yes an actual African actor would be great for the role but Hounsou may be a little old for the role IMO. Ten years ago he would have been a perfect fit. It would also be great to get someone skilled both in martial arts and parkour for the part.

Cloak and Dagger are an interesting concept, Two Young people attached by fate and complimentary super powers. Cloak (Black guy) has "darkness" and teleportation powers. Dagger (White girl) has "light" and energy powers.

They seem like a couple right? In the continuity of the comics, they have stated several times how they care for each other, and how nobody understands them but each other. However, Marvel Comics has been hesitant to make them an official couple for some reason. Maybe now that they are having a Gay married couple (Northstar & some dude) and there is already a official IR couple (Luke Cage & Jessica Jones) Marvel will make these two officially an Item.

I could imagine, Charlize Theron, playing Dagger in a film. Don't know who could play Cloak though. Will Smith, Idris Elba.
