We've lost a lot in the last few years.

No one seems to come here for fun anymore. And we lost a lot of the fun people, for various reasons.

There are a couple of us who are going to try to bump the fun threads and start some news fun ones that might get more participation from the lurkers and regular posters alike.

My alarm is going off in less than 5 hours, but I can't sleep.

Smiles, tears of joy, screams of joy, hugs, it all happened tonight.

Thank you, God, for answering all of our prayers tonight. I'd like to think Harry Caray is smiling down on Chicago right now.

Nothing else matters right now. No more curses. No more black cats. No more goats. No more Bartman.

What a night. What a series. What a team. :heart: :heart: :heart:

Had to root for Chicago!!
My bff is IN LOVE with Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam and he's a die-hard! She was delirious. I was so happy for the Cubs and fans. Thought about you all through it, Books.:mrgreen:

(You know, we also won our World Series after a rain delay!):-D And we also had a famous announcer Harry Kalas who called the win and died after it. (28 yrs with the Phils).

BIG Congrats to the Cubs! The Goat has left the building! :smt039 :rock:
