You are so sweet Tarshi, you forget nothing, what a woman! It went reasonably well, if he'd give up this ridiculous demand for alimony we could probably settle everything and be done, but he's persisting with that. I think he's got a snowballs chance in hell of getting a judge to award that to him, but he seems intent on trying anyway. We go to court next Wednesday, so we'll see how that goes... fingers crossed they tell him to piss off and get a damn job of his own.

He wants you to have physical custody of the kids and support him?? Wow........he may win the #1 jerk of an ex award.

 

Yep, the only thing he didn't throw a fit about was custody. He came right out and told them he wanted me to have sole custody of the kids and he didn't want a set visitation schedule, he'd just call them if he wanted to see them... earned him a WTF look from my attorney and his. I think my daughter put it best... 'man you married a squirrely bastard'.

Yep, I can always count on the kids to put things in perspective. Children just have that amazing ability to see straight through all the crap.

 

Kids are awesome like that. They do a great job at bringing us back to reality when we lose our focus. I hope everything works out for you guys.
