Call me a bigot, but love is not love. If my kid turns out that way I will make sure to strangle his/her neck using my big baboon hands.
Like Cosby said "I brought you to this world I will be glad to take you out", lol.

No thanx, no gay kids for me, sorry. I want to see my gene prosper and expand. I had this discussion with my ex b4 and I was oaky with b4 but revisted the issue recently in casual convo with few ladies recently, so no thank you.
That's not up to you. Remember what Chris Rock said?
"Whoever you hate will wind up in your family."
Express that sort of morbid behavior and you just may get that what's coming to you.
The heck, it is up to me, raise 'em right, lol
Like Cosby said "I brought you to this world, I can easily take you out", lol.
With all jokes aside, it is a very difficult issue. I know prayer works for me so I know where to go when I need help.
Prayers NEVER work. What you do need is build the balls to be the best dad to your child should s/he turns out of be gay. I don't think anyone wants their children to have a difficult life, but I'd expect the parents to show them the way to happiness.

He's a comedian... that's what he does...
The joke is definitely not in good taste, but it's not about hate IMO. PC or not, I can understand where he's coming from for not wanting his son to be gay...in all honesty, I'm glad my son isn't gay, & I wouldn't want him to be. If he was I wouldn't be happy about it, but I wouldn't love him any less.
Anyhoo, like I said it is a tough issue. I pray that I won't come to cross it or deal with it. I have heard of few familes who had to deal with this very difficult issue, they have prayed and used counselors and their kid "has turn/change".
:smt042 Nope, they're just being forced into a lifestyle that's not natural.
They'll end up getting a little something on the side, while their wife is at home wondering if she's doing something wrong because her husband just doesn't seem that attracted to her.
You can't change a gay man/woman in to a straight man/woman anymore than you can change a straight man/woman into a gay man/woman. Nature is a powerful bitch.
Agree nature is a powerful bitch. This have been debated in many campus including Harvard, how much nature vs nurture are part of the equation. Some say it is 50:50, 80;20, others think mostly enviroment, etc....
I think if I am not mistaken there was a Phd psychologist who treated this case as some disorder and apparently folks have changed.
Anyhoo, I think I have said my piece in this topic, enough from me.
I wish I could give you every rep point on this site. So well said, BBW. :smt038:smt038
DOA - Whether or not someone is gay has nothing to do with how they were raised. But whether or not they have any love for themselves does.
I don't want to hijack this thread and have religious debate here. I know where you stand when it comes to Christ and you know where I stand. So we are not going to agree on that topic. Prayers have worked for me a million times, even when faced with death starring me down thru a gun barrel. Psalm 23 never fails me. Prayers have done miracle for me and lots of folks I know.

God knows I have been faced with zillion problems and been bating away, I don't need another.
**I just want to make clear where I stand, so there is no confusion. There is no hate here, I am not preaching hate & prejudice. I am oaky with the whole neighborhood being gay, I just don't want mine, if that makes me a bigot, oh well, so be it.
”I don't know about you, but I don't want to live in world where Tracy Morgan can't say foul inappropriate s----."
Tracy Morgan is a tad off we all know that so when Tracy says something I usually don’t take it anymore serious than I would a statement from Gary Busey or Flavor Flav. When I first heard the statement I thought it was offensive but it also reminded me of my father saying I'll kill you if you ever bring home a white girl but after reading everything Tracy said. Wow I get it that s--- wasn’t called for and I don’t support it at all.
Chris Rock had this to say
Tracy Morgan does not think before he speaks or acts that is what makes him TRACY MORGAN! He is hilarious! But, like all comedians he is liable to say something that people don't think is funny-especially with his style.
Personally, I would love my son regardless but, I would hope my children would be heterosexuals, to be honest. Does that make me a bigot or closed minded? Perhaps it is nothing more than a fundamental hope for my offspring to possess some of my basic qualities and desires.
Thank you, a mother has spoken.
