Trayvon Martin's Murder

That's fucking retarded. Sounds like he is quite comfortable embracing his victim mentality

It's not fucking retarded to recognize that it exists.
It's retarded to buy into it and think you are less than because someone else thinks you are.
THAT'S retarded.

The other retarded thing to do is pretend it doesn't exist because you don't want to take personal responsibility to help change it.

"Dear George Zimmerman,

For the rest of your life you are now going to feel what its like to be a black man in America.

You will feel people stare at you. Judging you for what you think are unfair reasons. You will lose out on getting jobs for something you feel is outside of your control. You will believe yourself to be an upstanding citizen and wonder why people choose to not see that.

People will cross the street when they see you coming. They will call you hurtful names. It will drive you so insane some days that you'll want to scream at the top of your lungs. But you will have to wake up the next day, put on firm look and push through life.

I bet you never thought that by shooting a black male you'd end up inheriting all of his struggles.

Enjoy your "freedom."

Sincerely,

A black male who could've been Trayvon Martin"

Love this :smt023

It's also restarted for people to think that other people are less them because they are different. That's uber retarded the the whole reason Martin isn't here in the first place.

I knew I had lost a train of thought there.

1) sad

2) bad

3) its evil to pretend

there we go. retarded is not nice...but I knew what you meant....thus I wish I could rep you for that statement

It's also "restarted" to want to be seen as a equal and like everyone else but every word out of your mouth is about how you're different......

First off my processor is very slow.
I'm rocking an A4. So sorry I can't keep up.

And yes I want to be seen as different for my individual quality.
This isn't a dolly the sheep society.

In the same vein, it's nice to be treated as equal as it pertains to certain given rights and freedoms.

The letter directly applies to how black men aren't afforded these things.
Very few are.

White straight men maybe. And if you're rich you can buy it.

Don't twist my words to fit your wonky point of view, thanks

Deep! Def poignant in its intend, though sadly perhaps a little misguided.

We certainly know there are Red States where he will be welcomed - even double murderer/slasher OJ did just fine until he fucked up again. Most of America hated Casey Anthony (except the several male members here who posted how bad they wanted to fuck her(a baby killer) after her not-guilty verdict:-x)
..whereas GZ appears to have (many?) supporters, judging by the blogs.
