For our holiday meal I made roasted mesquite pork tenderloin, herb roasted potatoes, steamed broccoli, and buttermilk pie for dessert.
It's kind of similar to custard or creme brulee in flavor to me. It's sweet, buttery, and creamy, and it forms a crackly, sugary top as it cooks. Good stuff.
LOL. I hear ya. My son has found the pie a time or two made by the Walmart bakery if you do any shopping there. You could probably put in an order for one if they don't have any already made on hand.
