White Men seem to care. I am not talking about the ones that would consider dating or is married to a Black Woman, they are the minority, very small number of the overall population.

Black Women seem to care, because when the media comes up with crap like this -

They wanna blame BM for it and you let them get away with it.

The fact remains that while 8.4% of Black Men are married to Non-Black Women, only roughly half of them are married to White Woman.

For White Men the next most common IR coupling is White Men with an Asian Woman and I never hear anything out of White Women, because White Women don't view Asian women as a threat.

Does that mean Black Women view White Women as a threat? Does that mean some Black Nationalist are engaging in self-preservation by targeting White Women and lately Planned Parenthood?

So what is the real reason why you are here? Even if BM/WW coupled on the foundation of sex only, isn't that our prerogative and who are you to say its wrong?

These and many other question are really never answered by Black Women that complain about how many Black Men seek White Women. When I say stop bitching because the number is small. How about the real answer is you don't want any of the good Black Men that are available and your sense of entitlement even out strips most White Women and that's saying ALOT.

At the end of the day The Black Man is to blame for all that is wrong in the world, isn't that what your really saying?

Listening to that clip, I did not get the sense that the women were at all unreasonable. Quite the contrary in fact.

I think the problem black women have is trouble recognizing good eggs from bad eggs. I used this analogy in another post but black women are like sports franchises that have trouble drafting good players. They want to win and reach the top but they aren't the best talent evaluators. Sistas want those talented tenth brothas that went to Morehouse or Howard, are members of Omega Psi Phi, Alpha Phi Alpha or Kappa Alpha Psi with the nice smile and the good career. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that but you have to evaluate a man's character first and foremost. Personally I think a lot of brothas that many white women would love are the kind that most black women would have trepidation about.

To summarize...sistas tend to judge men on tangible qualities and many white women tend to judge men on intangible qualties that are often more difficult to evaluate.

It is counterintuitive but what I'm saying is that sistas will look at the factors that one might expect: height, body build, attractiveness, income, education, investments etc. They focus on readily visible qualties and often pay less attention to what is just beneath the surface. This is why you will hear of sistas talking about good looking, successful and educated brothas that want to play around/cheat on them...it is rare to find someone that has all of the relatively superficial attributes plus high character, morals etc. There is always a tradeoff somewhere.

We have to be honest. Each of the women in that clip were quite attractive and seemed to have themselves in order. If those women had their same attributes but happened to be white...I doubt they'd still be waiting. Of course a lot of sistas put off serious relationships until they've "made it" and by then, the brothas that actually want to be married are all gone....what is left are hot-shot ballers that either don't want to be married or would rather have a woman that is ego-boosting accessory rather than a true partner. How many wealthy men have you seen married to women that made you think "she's fine as hell but....."?

Dude you often miss my point and please knock it off with the whole sistagirl thing. I'm just saying that bw are often marginalized. Look at entertainment and who we as a culture deem as beautiful they look closer to a Heidi klum then a Gabrielle Union. Even the most beautiful and talented bw are over looked take a look at Vanity Fair's recent cover. OK, the issue is "Fresh Faces of 2010." Are their any fresh black actresses coming out in 2010? Zoe Saldana's movies came out in 2009. Peeps just keep harping on it.

Truth be told in terms of new fresh faces I have no idea since I don't focus on entertainment like that I'm sure there are some. Most of the girls on that cover I've never heard of and some of them have been on there more than once at least so I've heard. Actually there's a black chick on that new Vampire Diaries tv show on the CW. She's unbelievable good looking, besides it's there job to inform us not the other way around. I'm not saying the cover shouldn't have been done but it's an example of what's considered beautiful by the mainstream.
As far as taking a chance on bw and being proven right don't you think that has more to do with mindset. If look for bad stuff you're bound to find it.

I dont think black women are more superficial than their white counterparts. I mean, finding a perfect match is a subjective matter and it is my contention that the prime number of black woman are prime examples of a possibly good black/black union gone bad. In fact, percentage wise, id say that white woman are atleast 20% more likely to be superficial than black women.

I wouldn't say sistah's are superficial. Black women have a keen sense about what they want (very specific) and this can limit them because they (some not all) are not always willing to compromise on attributes that they may need to compromise on. Black women want marriage but I don't think they put it high on the priority list until long after white women...usually. The plus side is that black women go further up the corporate totem pole but the downside is like trying to buy Superbowl tickets on the day before from a scalper. You are going to pay through the nose for the tickets...if you are lucky enough to find any.

One thing I learned in a human sexuality course in college was that Black men have a higher level of pheromones that are given off from their skin and hair, especially during exercise and arousal. This undetectable scent can cause a white woman to become aroused, and stimulated in the presence of such high level pheromones because she is not used to being exposed to them. Also there are published studies that Black men do have higher sperm counts and testosterone levels than their white counterparts. This was said to be a reason for higher pregnancy rates in Black women and interracial couples, as well as a woman's physiological instinct to reproduce. Seek out the fertile males, and vice verse. I was stunned to find out this has never been publicly said, but then that would be in a perfect world.
Aside from those facts, I find Black men more confident, more comfortable about sex (not so uptight about the subject) more uninhibited about sex, and just much better at it! lol
