What do you consider your perfect match? Do you believe its out there?

Looks AND personality are important. I wouldn't date someone who only had one or the other. That's called settling. Don't do it. There are plenty of people in the world who have both looks and personality.

 

Desireable characteristics in a man in my eyes are: Honesty,loyalty,faithfulness,ability to communicate on more than a small talk level,intelligence,humor,reliability,the knowledge that it takes two to make it work and the willingness to do his part,supportive(doesnt mean I will ask him for help all the time.Just knowing in important matters he will have my back as I will have his),understanding,affectionate,caring,some interests in common with me(yep opposites attract but in order to make it work i believe we also need a basis of things in common),non-smoker,not the thuggish type of man wearing grills,spending more on rims than on his apartment or house or can't even talk properly.



Yep I know that was a long list but that's pretty much exactly the type of guy I want. Certain of those characteristics would be okay if he showed them in tendencies at least while others like honesty and loyalty definitely need to be embodied in him .

As far as whether everyone has a perfect match... Maybe.I don't know for sure.Some may never meet theirs because they live at the other end of the world or one of them may be a borderline home body.
Then some others give up and become bitter after deep pain and disappointment and may put up walls which makes it hard for anyone to even see whether they're meant for one another.

 

I'm glad this was thread was posted, i recently was in a situation where i almost settled with someone who i thought had a great personality but not so great looks. i wont bore you all with the details but listen if you are gonna get dissed by someone get dissed by someone hot because ugly people can be just as snobby, stuck up and crass as beautiful people. i learned this the hard way.
