I'm really handy (like with "man work" including home renovations like tiling, using power tools, you pretty much name it) which sucks when female friends want me to "do their place next." Thankfully, guy friends don't do that. :smt104
Nice! I bought my place about 2 years ago, and have totally revamped everything, from floors (tile or bamboo) to the ceilings (decorative tin-looking tiles on my vaulted ceiling + other rooms) all by myself. It's been a lot of hard work, but it's been totally worth it. I love my place, and when I have people over, they can't believe I did it all, and call me crazy. :razz: Being an eccentric "art fag" is totally awesome... :smt112 Never a dull moment.
A smart woman that will do physical work with her hands. Thats pretty cool. I have a thing for wood floors and I'm sure the bamboo is lovely. I'm curious about the tin looking tiles on the vaulted ceiling.
Did you paint them that colour? They look like polystyrene tiles painted (they look quite cool like that) don't ever try to take them down unless you're prepared to re-skim the ceiling (which me and my Mum found out )

I'm ridiculously good at Boggle (and Scramble online). My brain is also a giant sponge for useless information which makes me excel at trivia games. I also have a highly analytical mind that is both a blessing and a curse.
