What U like About BM or WW Than Same Race

Accusing White women who like Black men of being intimated by Black women is classic Black women hater zone. Try to avoid it.

No, you totally misunderstood, I wasn't asking white women that (I thought the poster was a man), I was asking a black man that question.

I'm not sure if I'm going to answer this question, now or at all, but I'll say this.

1. I don't look at Black women or any person I share ethnic/national ties with as mine. Beyond sharing a possible cultural connection with that person, I don't feel tied to any sort of endogamous cultural practice. Nor do I feel the rejection or non acknowledgment of such means I don't like myself or my mother......

2. I like White women for "everything they are", not for "everything Black women are not". So I've never compared as I feel there is no comparison, but since you asked why I like one over the other, I will have to find a list of qualities women have and then start comparing Black and White women. It sounds crude to me, but you are asking why I pick one over the other.

Hello, I can fully understand what you are talking about. Just because someone shares my race and culture do not mean I own them or they own me or I feel any special obligation or loyality to them. I can however acknowledge the same road blocks we face sometime being African American.

I have dating interracially for several years now and my current boyfriend is white Ameican of German ancestry. I have always been attracted to white men and nonblack Latin men, not because I dislike black men but because I do like and is attracted to white men so I can relate with you statement below.

May I ask, what do you find attractive about White or non-Black men?

Know that the statement below was just a generalization, I don't believe all women of one race are the same. Why are you interested in the "opposite side of the swirl"? Have you written anything on Black women and White men similar to the questions you posed here?

It's these "monolithic-oriented" attitudes & modes of mentality/thinking that's a detriment to *any* kinds of *true* love, relationships, or even friendships....

Hello

I'm not here to pass judgement or bash black men, white women or interracial relationships. I am a black woman merely here to gather some information for a an article on relationships between black men and white women and out of curiosity also. So black men what do you find more appealing about white women than women of your own race and white women what do you find more appealing about black men then men of your own race?

Alright just for kicks, and given the infinitesimal chance that you are truly curious and not a troll I will give you an answer. First, the vast majority of men here in my experience with the site are looking for certain qualities, attributes and characteristics in a woman. These qualities, attributes and characteristics know no color, and the majority of men here would happily date a woman who meet these criterion regardless of how much melanin she has in the epidermal layer of her skin. The life experience and sometimes just plain geography (as well as a thousand other reasons) of the men here have led them to be interested in the kind of women found here on this site. In other words they date them for the same reason anybody dates anyone, love and having a lot in common.

The reason you got the initial negative push back to your original post was that you made an insulting ASSUMPTION that the men and women here were not getting something from a certain group women/men and ran to another group of women/men. There was also a subtle attempted shaming tactic behind your words imho as well, not a nice way to introduce yourself, and not original at all, countless trolls have done drive-bys here asking similar if not the same question, all with twisted, sick, bigoted agendas to push.

The bottom line is this, there is only one race, human, the dividing, stereotyping, ect., of human beings into "racial" categories based on appearance that we still see so often across the globe, is a social, not scientific construct that has always been used by those with power (political and wealth) to control the hearts and minds of those two are too stupid or scared to think for themselves.

Though I am only speaking about white/nonblack men in general and about some of the white and nonblack that I have dated and not about all men in their races.

I find white men to be good natured, courteous, romantic, sincere, hard working, generous and chivalrous. Physically, I am very attracted to men with blue, gray and green eyes, I like men with fair skin and different hair textures from wavy to straight that I can run my finger through. Sexually, the white men that I have been in relationships with or dated have been extremely hot and exciting. I love how they and now my current boyfriend really get turned on by my dark soft skin. White men tend to be very much into four play, making sure every inch of my body is stimulated. I have also found that white men are difinitely very adventurous in bed also.:). Sorry if I was too graphic.

Since you answered me, I'll answer you.

I grew up with a lot of Black kids, especially Black girls. I always felt a natural bond with Black folks. I felt comfortable around them. Not that I don't feel comfortable with others, but it just feels different and more like that "at home" feeling. With that said, when boys started entering the picture, I gravitated towards Black boys. One could say cause that's who my friends liked, but again, I felt a natural attraction to them. It's an unsaid thing. If I see a WM, I can say, he's cute, but there's that extra umpphhh I get when I see a BM I'm attracted to. I'm attracted to "Black" features. It can be argued, but my old best friend who was African said that I like Black American features. I agree with her, but to some others, that can be disputed. I liked BM way before I became sexually active so any of those bullshit myths or their sexual prowess crap, I despise. They're more than just a dick to me. I admire their inner strength and their tenacity. They also are very confident. They're a "mans man". I admire their brains and when they love, they really do love you. They're the fucking shit! I love Black men and thank God for creating them...

Absolutley, positively coo-ell.....as far as *shattering the myths & stereotypes* gig is concerned..

Kinda reminds me....in a funny way....of the essay I perused sometime back:

I sometimes look with disbelief at friends and family who have only surrounded their children with White folks and then are dismayed that their sons bring home a White girl. Well, who'd they expect to come home? Serena Williams?

In all honesty, I.B., if *only* there were *more* individuals that had your well-rounded and broad-minded way of thinking.....

There'd be *far less* of the "Your Open Mind Should Be Closed For Repair" individuals that make this world a Less Than Beautiful place to live....

Yes, I have done an article on black women with white men before and found that many black women are indeed attracted to nonblack men along with black men, other black women like myself are only attracted nonblack men and a few black women are with nonblack men because they are angry with black men and think they are getting revenge. I have also spoken with white men who are with (or dating) black women. Many of the white men with black women are with them because they love and are attracted these black women but there are some white men who only have a sexual fetish for black women. So I am curious if some of these situations apply to black men and white women relationships.

That quote is the truth! I love it...lol

Thank you your kind words. As I've stated on this board several times, I've always felt like I was mixed (Black and White). I can fit into both worlds in a sense, but yet, I'm not White enough for the "White" world and I'm not "Black" enough for the Black world. I walk the thin rail.

I think my upbringing helped mold me into who I've become. I used to have problems with my family, but they've outgrown their prejudices and expanded their minds as well. I'd hope I was a catalyst for them and also to see who I've become, because of where and how I was raised and by whom.
