What U like About BM or WW Than Same Race

And none of us here ever *did*, Pardner....

At least *I've* not....

Still and all, NOBODY should deny any human the right to pursue relationships with whomever it is their God-given right to have said preferences for....no matter what ethnicity/colour/race the love may be..

I am not saying that race is the only factor in being attracted to someone but I feel it's phony to pretend( not talking about you in particular) we don't see color or everyone is just the same from the human race. If that was the case then this site and other interracial sites would just say "Men and Women" period. I feel that it's ok to acknowledge our difference, respect and embrace them. All as human beings are different but equal.

Tamango;318506 However I feel my intelligence is being insulted when some people hand me this there is only one race said:
The fact that there is only one, human, race is not crap it is an indisputable biological and scientific fact. As I said, all of the stereotyping, prejudice, and bigotry that we as humans ascribe to others with differing appearance is and always will be a social construct used to control and manipulate the stupid, lazy and frightened. Of course there will always be those who are more attracted to certain features that are more commonly found within a certain group of people. It is also true that there are literally thousands of reasons for such a preference, and a reasonable discussion could be had about the "why" people have such preferences.

One thing is for sure, anyone who is truly stupid enough to use skin color/physical features as their sole determinant in who to date is surely setting themselves up for a lifetime of heartache and suffering, because underneath it all, people are people with the same capacity for greatness or evil, regardless of appearance.

Kinda sorta alot like how I grew up in Maywood & Chicago, Illinois.

More on the more outre aspects of those Hot And Heady Days Back When in a future post.

Still and all, there should be NO 'mold' as far as ANY & EVERY free-thinking individual person is concerned.

A producer friend of mine gave me this sage advice years ago: Dare to be different and follow your own star.

I agree but people who step to the beat of their own drummer, have to face a lot of opposition from other people who want and expect you as a black or white person walk, talk, dress and behave a certain way.

I certainly agree with the biological aspect that we are all of the human race but it irritates me when people with preferences for their own race or another , say stupid things like " I Don't See Color or Race", not to say that's what you meant.

So who says that *anybody* has to give those buggers the Time Of Day?

If they don't put food on your plate, clothes in your wardrobe, a roof over your head, or income in your pocket....

You'd *best* hope they enjoy sex and travel....

So's you can tell 'em all to TAKE A FUCKIN' HIKE!!!!

Maybe she really is doing an article.

a more kind and gentle and calm spirit; more adventurous and well travelled, diverse in experiences, we share the same interest in music, world views, often same political and religious practices that i havent found in Most black women.

also they have been more open to dating, not hard to approach, have a normal conversation with.

I have no problem with answering your question. If you are doing an article then it would be great to see it, but even if you aren't, I don't see the problem in listing qualities or attributes that we are attracted to anyway.

I have never dated one race exclusively and I never will. I've had three relationships and those three have been with a white guy, a black guy and a Filipino. The only race of men who I do tend to avoid are Middle Eastern men, but that's more of a cultural thing rather than an appearance/race thing.
The qualities I look for in a person are not down to race, but to the individual. I like intelligent, modest, no nonsence men with a sense of humour. I like guys who smile and laugh a lot, and I do like masculine guys. I like men who have ambitions and can protect themselves and those close to them. Those qualities are not exclusive to race, but if we are to go down that route, I've seen this more in black and white men than in Asians. But as for specific racial qualities that I like in black men more than in men of my own race?
There's only one thing that stands out. The black men I've dated have pretty much all been great cooks. The white guys can't cook for shit.

Looks wise? All of the guys I've dated have been tall, broad, with nice musculy backs, legs and arms. All have had dark hair and dark eyes.

I think that people who date one race exclusively find it hard to believe but race is really irrelevant to me. If I see a hot guy, I see a hot guy. He can be green for all I care. Or blue. Like that guy from Avatar, he was a bit alright.

I keep hearing that but in all honesty I don't see where black women (maybe because I'm female also) are that unapproachable. You mind telling what religious practices you are talking about?

Thanks for you post. Yep the one black dude I dated was a great cook and he could garnish a dish so pretty with smears, herbs, tomatoes etc that it looked like 5 star chef, lol.

I can't really point out anything in general other than skin color because every girl is different, white or not, i'd never date exclusively and theres nothing unapproable about black women, I love and have dated them too so I guess just fairer skin i'm into? even though I have no problem with dark skin either, pretty is pretty

Hello

I'm not here to pass judgement or bash black men, white women or interracial relationships. I am a black woman merely here to gather some information for a an article on relationships between black men and white women and out of curiosity also. So black men what do you find more appealing about white women than women of your own race and ?white women what do you find more appealing about black men then men of your own race

You know, your question itself separates people..white race/black race..it´s not that I like bm in general more than wm. It has to do with experience someone made.. if they were nice you go on, if they were bad, you stop walking in that direction. But as a journalist- you should really be neutral. Stop thinking of black and white, we are all human beings, and just because I like some bm, it does not mean I don´t like my own race (even the word "race", sounds ridiculous, we normally use that word for dogs). The person counts, not the nationality or skin color.

Since you answered me, I'll answer you.

I grew up with a lot of Black kids, especially Black girls. I always felt a natural bond with Black folks. I felt comfortable around them. Not that I don't feel comfortable with others, but it just feels different and more like that "at home" feeling. With that said, when boys started entering the picture, I gravitated towards Black boys. One could say cause that's who my friends liked, but again, I felt a natural attraction to them. It's an unsaid thing. If I see a WM, I can say, he's cute, but there's that extra umpphhh I get when I see a BM I'm attracted to. I'm attracted to "Black" features. It can be argued, but my old best friend who was African said that I like Black American features. I agree with her, but to some others, that can be disputed. I liked BM way before I became sexually active so any of those bullshit myths or their sexual prowess crap, I despise. They're more than just a dick to me. I admire their inner strength and their tenacity. They also are very confident. They're a "mans man". I admire their brains and when they love, they really do love you. They're the fucking shit! I love Black men and thank God for creating them...

:smt038 Will rep you for this when I can! :D

I agree if you are attracted to someone to just go with it.:smt045

I I beg to differ, my question is not seperating people. I realize the many people want be politically correct but many times political correctness leds us to be overly sensitive or unnecessarily sensitive over a topic or issue that that is ok to acknowledged and often should be. People are already seperated by color, race cultures and subcultures and I think it's great to come together and accept, embrace and most of appreciate each other differences. Why do some people always think that in order for everyone to get along we must all put on blinders and pretend every one is just like us?
