It sounds nice and I hope for you and your family that he really changed. But don´t be too disappointed, if it´s not the case. You know, the older someone is, the more difficult it is to change. But for the moment, be happy to have your brother back
Yep, that's all we can do is live in the moment when it comes to him. I know all too well, how things with my brother can change. But, for now, I'll remain cautiously optimistic.
it's my last day in the us & to say that i'm sad is an understatement....!!!! i've had so much fun & ann has been the most amazing host....found a friend for life with her. smooth thank you so much for that weekend....!!!
Aww, Tarshi. :smt056 I know that it is hard not to be sad when something so special is coming close to an end. I struggle with that myself. I hope that you are able to enjoy your last day here, and remember that this isn't goodbye forever. It's just goodbye for now.
I was a lousy host, LOL but thank you!!! I do love you my lovely!!! I will alwasy be your friend, you are truly beautiful inside as well as being insanely gorgeous!!!
So.....I totally lived up to the nickname that Tarshi decided to dub me. I went to a coworker friend's house tonight for a party. I left at 2ish and spend almost 2 hours in the back seat of a car with a 25 year old. LOL. If he'd have had a condom, we'd have had sex, but alas, we just did everything else. :smt030
Last week was the first week of school for me since I got my bachelors. I have begun a journey into what I call "the search for my Master/second bachlors" The first classes I am taking are Genetics(seems easy right now), ecology(might be a tough one), virology, foundations of vision, and digital image processing. Most of the classes are memorize except my computer classes. Those are going to require programming in MATLAB if any of you have heard of it. Luckily for me, most of the tests are not close together. This may also be my first attempt at writing an article on computer vision and publishing it to the IEEE. I hope not though.
Good luck!!! Genetics is pretty straight forward I think, complex but straighforward MATLAB was used a lot in my department when I was in gradschool for a lot of experiments. I remember a steep learning, but I think I have totally forgotten it by now. Havent used it since I graduated. I bought a lot of New Mexico green chilies yesterday and roasted them on my grill outside - MAN do they smell awesome, the little yummies! Gotta buy alot of them as the season is short - then I freeze them so I can enjoy them for a while. While I was at it I grilled a side of salmon I bought at the local Korean supermarket, they have excellent grade fish. All in all a pretty good day
thanks gorgeous. i've found such true friends in smooth and geeky. hopefully the geek will get out here in february next year and then me back over there in july....ahhh heck lets just go a full on paris and say that geeky is a bff...!!! lol...good job on what...??? yes you were a lousy host...had to fetch my own drinks, called me names, got me drunk (so you could take advantage of me)...!!! and the same goes for you...insanely gorgeous and beautiful on the inside and out...!!!! loving your work joanie...!!! and shouldn't you always have a spare condom in your purse for such times...??? runs off sobbing... i'm with geeky angel...GOOD LUCK....!!! lmao...!!! so you finally got to grill...!!!!
Very true! I certainly wasn't expecting that to happen last night. I felt like I was in high school, even the radio was playing 80s music. LOL.
Bookie: You go girl!! Start packing some condoms, so at the very least you have a water balloon to hurl at someone well deserving and at the best - well you can fill that one in Archangel: good luck in your classes! Taking genetics and virology might make things a bit easier down the road.... Tarshi bella: damn I wish I was there to take advantage of your drunken gorgeousness! FG: same for you! LA: you tart! I love it! I am heading to the Dominican Republic next July after writing a big board exam. I have a family member getting married there so it will be a reunion of sorts (think Mama Mia style). I am so damn excited! :smt026:smt026
LOL. Yes, I should take a page out of the Boy Scout motto and always "be prepared". Hindsight being 20/20 though, I'm happy neither of us were prepared. It was only going to be a one night stand anyway. We don't have internet at home until probably tomorrow. Sucks. Last night, since I couldn't come on here or Facebook, I watched the first half of HP6. I was jonesing for some Draco. :smt023 Also, my right thumb started hurting. ARGH. It still hurts today, though I can bend it a little more today than I could last night. I have no clue what I did, but I want the use of my thumb back. LOL.
