I have a sore throat. I hate being sick. 
So, I met a guy through my friend, let's call him John. They are best buddies. We hang out 3 or 4 times all together and last week I happened to notice I kind of liked John. He told me some nice things and offered me a rose etc, things that I interpretated like a sign that he might like me too. He said he would have cooked for me once he got back from a work trip. Then my friend told me that one of his friends like me but he must keep the secret, so I was happy because I thought it was John.
So he left for 2 weeks abroad and I was like fantasizing etc and thinking about what to do when he comes back bla bla bla.
I noticed he didn't reply to my facebook notes anymore but I didn't want to trip over it since I know he is there to work.
This morning, I opened facebook and I saw he uploaded an album of pics from the place where he is now and in 2 other pics there's him hugging a girl (I thought it was one of his friends...), and in the second it's them kissing passionately. I guess he got a girlfriend and she isn't from the place where he is, it's her coworker, I'm sure.
Soooooo well, I was pretty upset. I am pretty upset.
My friends told me to wait till he comes back, that maybe it's just a flirt etc, but which man put pics of him kissing a girl and tag her in them if he doesn't really care???
Ha, men. I want to go abroad toooooooo

I took my little one to Six Flags Great America today. She got a free ticket through school, and it expired on Sunday.
We had a great day. We went on a lot of water rides. I actually coerced her to try a family friendly roller coaster, by telling her she couldn't get a funnel cake unless she tried it. She went on the roller coaster. She was scared during it, but it was worth it.
During the course of the day she said to me, "I'm sweating like two onions". :smt042
I ended up getting sunburn on my face (I had sunblock on) and now my face itches. I hope I'm not allergic. :smt011

I washed my face with Cetaphil and then I put cocoa butter on my face. I hope that it goes away by tomorrow. So annoying.
I'm going to a HS reunion of sorts tomorrow night, and I don't want my face to be itchy!!
It was a fantastic day! Once we got there, she didn't want to go in, but I told her I wasn't spending $55 to turn around and go home, and that we WERE GOING IN THE PARK. Then she said, fine, we're leaving after lunch. I said, no we aren't.
We ended up leaving at 8. LOL. I knew as soon as I got her in there, she'd be fine and she was.

Oh, my real reunion isn't until October, I think. It's insanely expensive (it's somewhere around $125 a person). Moreso than the last one. And it's a cash bar, which irks me even more.
The thing I'm going to tomorrow night, is more with just the band geeks getting together. LOL.
I don't think I have calamine lotion. I should go check.
And no, there ain't nothin' like the real thing, fo sho.
