then why did my girlfriend go out last with her white fiance (she told me over the phone this morning) and quite a few black men were trying to fight her fiance. i guess this behavior runs both ways.

 

I do not know what you are talking about but i for one do not even fringe at the sight of a black woman with a white man. I could care less for who the next man is dating, let alone their skin color. I am more attracted to "other" women and thats it. If a black woman is more attracted to others, good luck. As long as she does not have to make up pathetic reasons for it(same applies to black men too).

It's almost as if the "rejected" person thinks they would have had a shot with this person in an IR relationship. They assume that this person would have even considered them without knowing this person. But, it's all assumptions based on the person's colour, something that they wouldn't want to have happen to them in similar situations.

It's funny how some people can instantly come to such large conclusions without analyzing the history behind the couple (i.e. how they met, what brought them together, why they stay a couple). For all the "rejected" people know, the couple could have been friends since childhood, he could have helped her during a tough period in her life, she could have helped him study for his final exams.

Personally, I don't care if BW (or any other type of woman) date WM. I'm not greedy, so all I need is one to make me happier than I've ever been. The only thing that bothers me is when a good woman whom I like decides to date an a$$hole.

I'm all for people who strive to find their own happiness without it leading to the misery of other people.

It's all about that sense of "ownership" and automatic entitlement due to mere likeness in skin color. In the case of BM/WW, white man feels black man is "intruding" upon his preordained ownership of all white women, while likewise black women tend to feel that the white women are stealing all of "their" good back men. Same goes for WM/BW. Thankfully I have a mother who, although at times tends to express a mildly obsessive interest in the race of the person I date, is completely fine with any of my choosings, so long as the girl is nice and decent. Same goes for my little sis, who of late seems to be very much inclined to choosing a white partner when she begins to date. I think she can rest assured that I would be fully supportive of her dating a white guy, because I do not "own" my sis or any woman who just so happens to share my ethnicity. So long as the woman's preference isn't out of spite, then i have no problem with it.

 

You said it all, my friend. Americans are very shallow on this issue of race and will continue to be.

 

It's not unusual for them to use intimidation and physical attacks when it's not a BM with a WW...this is the only combination many of them accept. One member on this board bragged about going after a BW/WM even though his WW was right there with him. I have no idea why tucker keeps whining that BW rejected him when he claims to have been in love with WW since his earliest memories. Feeling that way it's certain it did everything in his power to project that attitude and that got the message loud and clear.

I'll bet each of those players were dating WW when they did this.

 

What about WW have a problem with IR? Members have complained that WW will go from one bad relationship with WM but won't give them a chance. And many WW have been disowned and shunned by female relatives and friends for dating outside their race. Why place it all on BW/WM when there are plenty of examples of WW doing the same? Some BM hate all forms of IR involving blacks as well. Let's be real about this! I've heard WW talk about their own mothers treating their biracial children different than their pure white ones too.

 

I think BW have explained themselves rather well and I believe their feelings since they own their feelings. I also think it is more of an irk for most than a mission. Of course that is some...and those women who take it as a crusade are women that have bigger issues in general which make them unlikely to be a good partner period.
