Who has the best BBQ?

I've never tried Jaegerschnitzel. What is it?

The closest I've come to authentic German food is at Milwaukee's German Fest, where they had rollbraten (I hope I'm spelling it correctly). That is fantastic!! Makes me wish German Fest was every day!! :lol:

 

I wished those Germans from Texas can come to K-Town and open a eating establishment of German Barbecue,Jaegerschnitzel,and other good food.

 

its meat coated with bread crumbs in creamsauce with mushrooms.
Many American soldiers I know love it
It usually is served with french fries and salad

 

Why only in Ktown? Except for the US military base and the clubs that were build for the soldiers mainly there's not too much going on there.

 

I learn something every day. Wished its in Munchen,Koln,and Frankfurt.

 

I love all types of barbeque! Memphis tends to use dry rubs and I love it! I was accostomed to wet before that and love that also! I can appreciate all different types if it is cooked nice and slow!

 

so i'm biased but KC all the way. it's the one thing we do have. there's nothing better than Gates BBQ.

 

I just got out of Memphis after a three year bid and I always thought the ribs there were overrated. But then I'm not a dry rub fan. The only place in town I liked was a spot on Beale called Blues City. They had real fall off the bone ribs. That's my style. I used to tell my friends that people in Memphis were better at marketing ribs than cooking them.

 

oh now trojanman-where's the love? There are good ribs in memphis-but most of them are dry rub. But they are good eating!!! and where were you when I was looking?(for a man that is!)

aint no other in da world that can cook food like black folk-
