My girlfriend isn't a Barbie, but I think she is very attractive. She doesn't wear much make up, dresses very simple since she's a southern girl, low maintenance. I like her and she has other qualities I look in a woman that attract me to her: intellect, emotional connection, and her personal qualities challenge me personally.
Hmmm...I hate labels but I will give this one a shot.. As society sees it... then... PLAIN JANE-> basic or simple BARBIE-----> perceived as attractive and vacuous I have to laugh at this one when women are classified in this manner. This thread is a joke right?? Right!!! LOL... okay lets have some fun with it.. Every woman is Plain Jane AND Barbie in my opinion unless they view themselves as being a part of either group. In my opinion there is no such thing as plain jane or barbie when it comes to serious relationships, or even just dating. I would not date either one. Too restricting for me!!! My woman can not identify herself as being a plain jane or a barbie because I am universal. I want/have the woman who can take care of me, our home, our kids, our finances, etc. today, and tomorrow or maybe even tonight I also want that woman who can go to the ball or other reputable function with me who can represent!! I want her to be straight up and natural in the house (no makeup, sweat pants, hello kitty slippers, etc.) and while in the street I want guys to wish I were dead already so they could have a chance to get her. She has to be honest and humble while at the same time being able to put me in check too because Im NOT always correct. With plain jane I will be correct all the time but not with barbie since she has so damn much going for her and can replace me at any given moment....LOL. My woman has to be both! One second... what do you call a woman who is both?? Not plain jane or barbie right? Right!! She has to be a lady in the street and my personal fantasy in the bedroom for my liking. Hmmm.. Plain or Barbie now since she is both?? Okay you see where Im going with this so.... It all boils down to YOUR OWN PREFERENCES!!! If you think that librarian who quotes Shakesphere is HOT because you like that kind of stuff then she is your Barbie. If that same Librarian bores you then she is Plain Jane. I am fortunate enough to have found Ms. Universal and I hoping that one day she will be Mrs. Jayarmy. I am content with the best of both worlds. Its all about Qualities if you ask me. If they have the qualities you like then they are Barbie. If not then they are Plain Jane. As a matter of fact my lady made a thread in this forum called Qualities. Why dont you go and check it out if you still on that Plain Jane/Barbie kick?
I would gladly date a plain jane, as I'm a plane joe, lol. Apart from a basic level of attractiveness, I'm not that hungry for a drop-dead, heavily made up kind of woman.
