Movies with BM/WW Couples

New U.K. trailer:

I'm still looking for the 2nd longer trailer. Usually the first or 2nd trailer tells you what the movie is going to be focused on. Whether they are going to focus on the political side of their relationship more than the forbidden love story, vice-versa or both.

Either way, overall I just hope she didn't water down their relationship where they PURPOSELY avoid kissing or love scenes with the excuse of "we don't want to offend anybody" or the other lame excuses they give. Because we know movies still have a long way to go when it comes to bm/ww couples. Remember they edit out a love scene with Idris Elba and Charlize Theron in Prometheus.

Amma Asante is too good and this film is getting early oscar buzz.

I checked the YouTube channel of the studio that is releasing this movie in the UK/internationally (https://www.youtube.com/user/patheuk), The 2 trailers I posted in this thread are the only trailers that have been released so far.

I hear you, but to be honest, I hate love scenes in my sci-fi action thrillers.

Variety: Tom Hanks-Emma Watson Thriller ‘The Circle’ Gets Release Date

EuropaCorp has set an April 28 release date for the thriller “The Circle,” starring Tom Hanks, Emma Watson and John Boyega.

Variety reported in February that EuropaCorp had bought domestic rights to the project, based on the international best-seller by Dave Eggers.

Hanks plays the founder of the world’s largest tech and social media company. He encourages Watson’s character, who’s rising through the company ranks, to live her life with complete transparency — but no one is really safe when everyone is watching. The novel turns into a contemporary thriller about the perils of life in a digital age where personal data is collected, sifted and monetized and used for surveillance, rendering privacy obsolete.

The film was written and directed by James Ponsoldt, whose credits include “The End of The Tour” and “The Spectacular Now. Producers are Gary Goetzman and Hanks for Playtone, Anthony Bregman for Likely Story and Ponsoldt.

“The Circle” was fully financed by Image Nation Abu Dhabi and is presented by Image Nation in association with Parkes MacDonald Productions.

It’s the third title to land on April 28, joining Universal’s untitled Blumhouse horror title and Pantelion’s “How to Be a Latin Lover.” “Guardians of the Galaxy 2” opens a week later.

A Hundred Streets is an independent movie which started production in 2014 and is due to be released in 2016. Its about "three people, three extraordinary stories. All lived out within a hundred London streets".

British stars Idris Elba (The Wire, Thor) and Gemma Arterton (ex-Bond girl, Hansel & Gretel) play Husband and Wife. In this aticle link she talks about their sex scene in the film (link). Pictures of them filming in London below:

Samuel Goldwyn Films has picked up USA rights to the British drama “A Hundred Streets” (“100 Streets”), an ensemble feature that stars Idris Elba (who is also a producer on the film).

Jim O’Hanlon directed it from a script penned by Leon F. Butler.

Samuel Goldwyn has set an early 2017 theatrical run in the USA.

The film, which made its World Premiere at the Los Angeles Film Festival in June, takes a fresh look at the vibrant and compelling life of a group of individuals in contemporary London. A Hundred Streets intersect the film’s setting, hence its title. It’s in these streets that the characters face defining moments, major choices and fundamental change in their separate lives, as they negotiate their paths through life, paths that often interweave through our hundred streets.

Elba is joined by Gemma Arterton, Charlie Creed-Miles, Franz Drameh, Kierston Wareing, Tom Cullen and Ken Stott.

The filmmakers previously described the film as a gritty, contemporary, poignant multilayered drama, with the underlying message being one of hope, and that by working as a community, things can only get better.

“Crash” and “Amores Perros” are listed as inspirations.

The film is produced by Pippa Cross, Leon F Butler, Idris Elba and Ros Hubbard.

Samuel Goldwyn is eyeing a January 13, 2017 USA theatrical release for the film.

No trailer yet; but a new clip released on Twitter today, follows below, featuring Elba and Arterton: https://twitter.com/HundredStreets/status/790517202764038144

Strangely,G I had not seen Super Fly TNT only Super Fly 1990. Didn't know Holifield moved to Italy. I saw him doing a "bout" with Rommey months back.

Super Fly TNT was the sequel to Super Fly. It follows Priest enjoying an idyllic life in Italy.

Didn't Ron O'Neal pass away some years ago?

O'Neil died in 2004. He did not return on the flick The Return of Superfly aka Superfly 1990. Samuel L. Jackson appeared in that flick. SFTNT is not on DVD yet so I may had to find the VHS version.

Dcurry,Kidulthood is now available on DVD Region 1 in the US. Sadly, the sequel Adulthood is not available since it is on Region 2 in UK and Europe. Brotherhood is still in theaters in the UK. I never saw the first two but,saw only the flashbacks of the character of the series as he remembered putting the pieces together.

I'm watching the 2000 horror film "Dracula 2000" right now:

Omar Epps plays Jennifer Esposito's boyfriend in the movie.

First commercial for "A United Kingdom" I seen on television yesterday.

I knew the racist were going to come out against this film, but I didn't know they started talking like they are so-called revolutionist. They are calling this an "race mixing propaganda" movie, and "seek to destory western civilisation", "white guilt" and so on. And of course those that seem to sexually fetishize interracial talking about "she wants the BBC". Hopefully in the long run this movie gets the respect it deserves.
