I don't think FOCUS is an action film though.

 

I think you're right. IMDB considers "Focus" to me more of a Crime Caper Dramedy.

I just thought of another film that @darkcurry didn't mention. "Let's Be Cops" with Damon Wayans Jr. & Nina Dobrev.

 

A couple of small ones for movies I just watched.

In "Play Dirty" Keegan Michael Key is in a relationship with Yvonne Zima, but there isn't much romance in their appearances together as a couple, but they do have great chemistry.

In "One Battle After Another" its implied that Wood Harris is in a relationship with Alana Haim as they kiss before she goes off to complete a mission. If you haven't seen this one, do so, maybe the best movie of the year.

Put crudely, that American Blacks psychologically live in a double world

With the Kate Mara’s character and the all Black parties, I have concerns. But I’ll check it out. Andre Holland is having an indie resurgence.

Apocalypse Love Story is available on Tubi. I watched it last night. In a nutshell, it was a beautiful depiction of an IR relationship.
