Nate and I start our new jobs next week!!!!!!!

Today thanks to my mother and her tax return I get a long overdue eye exam and some contacts. YAYS!!!

I can't wait til I can see well again. The computers at
school have been hell lol

Nah it won't be a really likable job but paychecks and hours are a great motivator. Heh. Thanks thoug because it's definitely a huge relief and we can maybe even finally get our own place together. That's definitely a great thing.

I'm a bit sad today though, but for different reasons. Mom called and told me that my dog, Isis, has a broken back and will likely have to be put down. She's a very sweet dog and I wish I could see her but I can't. I knew it would happen though cause she's nearly 8 and has been sick but I hate that she's going to be in such pain before the end and I can't do anything about it.

My poor sweet bird, Daedalus, died today and in a most horrific way. Well the death wasn't (she was put to sleep by a vet) but she was mutilated by (what I think was) a water dragon before that. It ripped her wing off right through the bars of her cage. It was horrifying to find her like that. I'm devastated and my other bird, Icarus, is lonely. Poor boy and my poor girl. I had her for over 12yrs. RIP Daedalus, you sweet lady.

I am such a bird person, I just love them. I have no idea how awful it must feel... I'm sorry =( So very awful.
