That's so true, what's with the first time being so sacred? My first time was fun, but I would hate to have waited for someone "special" only to be a dud root cos I didn't know what I was doing! lol
hahaha yeah I suppose it's a pretty uniquely Australian saying huh lol. Didn't really think about that as I was writing it
Luckily for me, I don't. And even if I did, I'm not up for a long lasting relationship. It would be awkward, like my dad calling and saying "Hey son, let's hang out every day for the rest of your life", after being virtually absent for the first twenty-four years of it. I know you're being serious but this part reminded me of the chapter in the movie 'The Last Dragon', called "Paintbrushes".
Women don't really fall into the dud category. Female virgins are still considered desirable among many men. That chick Natalie Dylan auctioned off her virginity and the highest bid got up to 3.7 million (although the sale didn't go through) and now she even has a book deal and a movie coming up. For guys, virginity is just a useless and embarrassing weight that they carry around.
I suppose one could say that the first person should be special in case the girl gets pregnant. She'll need someone who's not going to just leave her (I've seen it happen many times. Flings gone wrong). Aside from that though, I can't really see a reason.
Women can definitely fall into the "dud root" category! There are certainly varying degrees of skill and know-how as well as general enthusiasm! I think the whole obsession with virgins is more of a male ego thing than an attractive-quality-in-a-woman thing for most men... Especially men who are bidding 3.7million dollars on it.
Because of the roles of men and women, certain situations cannot be juxtaposed. Like with conversations for example; it's the man's job to be interesting and witty. "It is assumed that the woman must sit motionless until she is wooed - that is how the spider catches the fly." -GBS I think it's mainly a fantasy thing but that's just my opinion. I was merely contrasting the popularity of female virginity with the unpopularity of male virginity.
Lol great movie reference fam "gotta know the moves baby" Have you ever had a relationship of the romantic kind before?
Classic. Nope, sure haven't. I didn't really talk to any girls in school. I can't think of any women that I've ever really liked beyond looks to be honest.

Coincidentally, homer was laughing at a stereotypical black comedian talking about how white guys "walk like this/drive like this". :smt005
Like I said, in this day and age it's not easy to do and I think being a dude who's a virgin is even harder, although he seems comfortable with it. For me and my friends, we took pride in being a V (I didn't suck dick or do anal either). It was something that was special for us. I was in love with this dude and was scared to give it up to him. I was scared cause I had an emotional attachment and didn't want to mix it up with sex and then if he'd leave, I would be devastated. Then I had it with the next guy who came along who I didn't have those strong feelings for. I was always told that I'd be sprung over my first and that wasn't the case. I was sprung over the dude who I didn't have sex with. I rode on my first time. Not a good thing....lol
