I don't think anyone's promoting her as a "sex symbol" as such... But what's wrong with celebrating beauty in different forms? Should we lock her in the cupboard and pretend she doesn't exist? And before anyone says it, it's not about promoting unhealthy lifestyles/bodies, it's about the media taking a turn from idolizing skinny girls as the ultimate in beauty.
I know beauty in the eye of the beholder, but NO heterosexual male with a sane, sound mind and good eyes would ever get with that. I'm sorry.
