It's not that. It's just my lack of fascination with the likes of Tupac. Actually, being a lot of people who listened to him, I grounded myself in video game music during that time. Plus, just to agitate some of them, I purposely piss off people by butchering his name. I use to go around and say... "T-Cup Shacker" and people would look at me funny. And was that when you grew to like him? Hahahaha, wow! :axe::axe::axe:
That's what's up. I like listening to soundtracks from Sega Genisis games, mainly. I respect Pac but I think people wouldn't be calling him(or Biggie) the GOAT if they hadn't been killed at the peak of their careers. Not gonna deny their talents but would they really be called the greatest of all time if they were till alive.
not because their bored, but because their tired from all the twerkin, jerkin, fuckin, suckin, eatin, etc etc.
You got a point BA. I think a lot of their popularity does come from their deaths. I love both artists' work, but they're not necessarily the GOAT. Personally I like the really old school stuff; it's the best imo.
Yeah that "death hype" aint no joke, its crazy how you can group of 100 people and majority them are gonna say biggie and 2pac are the goat with no other knowledge of any other rappers. Also being great and better are different things, I mean Biggie was the better rapper, but Pac was the greater rapper. The artist catalogue, lyrics, flow etc should go into what people classify the goat, but sadly most people just like to jump on peoples bandwagons because it makes them look cool (i mean lame). You would think this would be one thing people would try to keep their individuality in, but ALOT dont.
