Thanks for the input Espy. I definitely feel comfortable handling guns & I'd have no problem using one if necessary. I also believe in educating kids about guns, because to me it's like educating them about sex. If they know what it, how it works, & what the consequences of being irresponsible with it are, they learn to respect it & are less likely to have an accident. My dad always had guns, so I was also taught how to respect them at an early age. I also plan on shopping around before I decide what to get. I have small hands so I don't want a gun that's too big or too heavy. I recently spoke to a lieutenent I had worked with at the prison (he's a regular customer at one of my stores) & he said he could make arrangements for me to use the prison's shooting range whenever I wanted to practice. I've always been a pretty good shot though. Texas does have a concealed handgun law & the class is required to get the license. As a single woman I would without a doubt feel safer with the extra protection. I really appreciate all the tips.

i told you mayne 2 people in a car followed a guy who worked in the city, to the suburbs 3-4 years ago. They waited until he got off work and caught his usual bus. Once he got to his crib, they blazed the shit out of him. doesnt matter where you live, fam.
Don't know how often this happens with older people, but do they know how to take care of a fucking disc? I swear, my parents always put a disc on the reading side when they take it out of something. And god forbid they put the shit BACK IN THE GOD DAMN CASE!!! YOU KNOW, THE CASE THAT IS RIGHT NEXT TO YOU ON THE SEAT?!?! Please put my god damn cds back in the case. There are plenty of slots open, thank you!!! I hate to get in my car after my mom has drive it, only to find my cd lying on the reading side under the deck, while some god damn Miriah Carey or Keri Hilson cd is in there. Jesus christ monkey scrotum shit!!!

He'd kill me if I did anything to his joints, but I'm always dealing with my parents and their lack of knowledge of electronics as a whole. It's hard discussing computers, cell phones etc. I get so frustrated, cause it's like you have to teach them A, but a lot of us are at R and higher...lol
